Did you know, one donor can save or transform up to nine lives through organ donation? By saying yes to organ donation, you could give someone else a second chance at life. All adults in England are now considered to have agreed to be an organ donor when they die unless they’ve recorded a decision not to donate or are in one of the excluded groups. It’s never been easier to show you support donation; simply update the details in your NHS App.

Information about registering and changing your organ donation decision, using the NHS App or the NHS website.

Turn the sky pink this Organ Donation Week to remember those who died waiting for a transplant.

Sadly, someone will die today waiting for a transplant, and most of us would accept an organ if we needed one. It takes just two minutes for someone to confirm their decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register.

For this year's Organ Donation Week we want as many local landmarks and buildings across the country as possible to turn pink, to encourage people to confirm their support for organ donation by adding their name and decision to the NHS Organ Donor Register.
