Sanguine Therapy

Sanguine Therapy Louise Hudson - Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist and Independent Community and Family Mediator - available online and in Bristol and North Somerset

My name is Louise Hudson - welcome to my page - I'm glad you've found your way here. I named my practice Sanguine Therapy after my maiden name, Sanguinazzi. 'Sanguine' means hopeful, especially in the face of adversity. I hope to offer this to the people I work with. I believe challenging times often contain the potential for new growth. Nature is a big part of how I make sense of life a

nd change and it often finds it way into sessions through imagery, metaphors and as a grounding presence. Before re-training as a therapist, I worked in the NHS and voluntary sector - developing services that focused on supporting people with long-term conditions, mental health and end-of-life. After going through some life changes I decided to retrain - first as a mediator and then in cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy. I offer a warm, supportive space to find a way forward that feels right for you. Visit my website to find out more www.sanguinetherapy.co.uk

🧘🏻‍♀️Join Fiona and I for an afternoon of restoration and balance as we explore moving energy through the body and mind. 🙏

🐦‍🔥Fiona will host the afternoon in the gorgeous setting of The Phoenix Tree Studio, Edithmead, Highbridge and will set the tone with a Hatha & Yin Yoga practice 🧘

Inspired by the season, as spring moves energetically into summer, take time to pause and reflect as I follow with a guided meditation.

What keeps you awake at night? Do you feel tired, wired and awake when you're desperate for rest? Have you tried everything but still can't sleep?

Today marks World Sleep Day and as a World Sleep Day delegate I want you to know, you're not alone. Chronic insomnia, characterised by difficultly falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early at least three times a week for over three months, affects 10-15% of adults and is rising year on year.

I offer a holistic and evidence-based approach combining Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for sleep (ACT) and Hypnotherapy to help you sleep well and live better.

Here's what a recent client had to say: "I recommend Louise unreservedly to anyone trying to find elusive sleep....Her repertoire of cognitive therapy and hypnosis enabled me to relax in a way I hadn't managed for many years."

It can be hard between the rushing around of this time of year to find a moment of calm. As we mark the shortest and darkest day of the year I want to take this opportunity to thank my clients, friends and followers on this page who have liked and engaged in some way with my posts.
I hope you can sense in this day the opportunity to take a pause, reflect on what has gone and make way for new opportunities - like the space between the in breath and out breath, the pause can be our super power at this time of year.
