Bio:

sLEdger is London based DJ / Producer Robin Dallison who has released and remixed under various disguises such as Dobbs, Rob Vision and The Escapist on labels like Soundgarden, Tici Taci, Stripped, Redshift, Sinister, Pegdoll, Global
Underground and Music To Die For.

Robin began his musical life as a drummer, and then like so many others was caught by the rave bug. Stints on pirate radio station Dream FM in Leeds (UK) soon caught the ear of legendary club promoter Dave Beer and gigs around Leeds and Manchester followed, at places like Back To Basics, and Humbug in Manchester, sharing the bill with people people like Mr Scruff, and Luke Una. This led to his first taste of production in Spirit Studios Manchester with the legend that is Simon Noble (Breeder) sitting in on a couple of sessions. A move to London followed and Robin immersed himself in the Progressive / Breakbeat and Belearic electronic scenes, DJ’ing at legendry clubs like Turnmills & Elements, as well as touring Europe alongside people like Rui Da Silva and the late Jonathan Lisle from Bedrock (RIP).

Along the way his releases have gained support from some of the biggest players in electronic music, his breakbeat based work as ‘The Escapist’ and ‘Dobbs’ was played Annie Nightingale (RIP) & Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 1, as well as John Digweed on his Kiss radio show .

sLEdger’s more recent releases don’t easily sit in any genre, the slower more Balearic productions have caught the ear of Laurent Garnier, and Sean Johnston from the legendary ALFOS club night, who described sLEdger’s track ‘Popper’ as
“One of the ‘tunes of 2024’. sLEdger’s more ‘Progressive House’ sounding releases have been supported by Nick Warren from the start, Nick has also remixed 2 of sLEdgers tunes. Then more recently Sasha championed the track ‘Hardcore Angel’
at a raft of his gigs, hence the release being snapped up by Music To Die For !

sLEdger has also remixed many artists including Fluke, Dark Globe, and Boy George. The Boy George remix has now racked up over 150,000 streams on Spotify alone. sLEdger’s music is a mixture of Deep electronic, progressive, breaks, indie
dance, rave and dubby balearic influences. Whether it’s a banger or chilled , sLEdger always delivers something a little different, and in these times of generic / genre based music that can only be a good thing.

Bio:

Cal Gibson, a veteran of the British underground scene, operates as The Secret Soul Society to produce rhythmic collages that blend funk, disco, and psychedelic Balearic beats. Having emerged in the noughties as a founder of the Nottingham based collective Neon Heights, Secret Soul Society marked a return to music making after a ten year hiatus in 2019: with well-received releases on labels such as Hell Yeah! recordings, Paper Recordings, Citizens of Vice, Rare Wiri and Magic Wand. He also presents on Loose FM and writes for Banbantonton and has spent the last 17 years as an independent advocate advocating for some of the most vulnerable members of our society such as people who lack capacity due to dementia, brain injuries, learning disabilities and mental health issues. Mental health is a huge part of that work so it's lovely to be involved in such a worthwhile project.

Claire's bio:

"Claire Lawless’ musical journey began in 2004 on the sun‑kissed coast of Spain, where landing a job in radio unexpectedly opened the door to DJing. For the next five years, she immersed herself in the scene, playing across clubs, bars, and beach venues, soaking up every moment of a life lived through music.

Returning home, Claire continued to move dancefloors as a resident DJ at a local club and at private events - until motherhood prompted her to step back from late nights and loud rooms. But the music never really left her; it simply waited for the right moment.

In 2025, that moment arrived. An opportunity with Vocal Booth Radio reignited Claire’s passion, bringing her back behind the decks with The Groove Session - a monthly show that celebrates eclecticism in its purest form. From indie to drum and bass, hip hop to house, and any other genre that makes us move and groove!

Claire was introduced to Music For Walking by Scott Cornwell, who had already created his own mix for the series and saw that her broad musical palette would be a perfect fit.

For Music For Walking, Claire teams up with Scott to create a mix designed to turn walking into a richer, more rhythmic experience. It’s music for pacing, wandering, thinking, and feeling your way through the world."

Scott:

From his first gigs in the 1980s to shaping the West Midlands house scene in the 1990s, Scott Cornwell has always been driven by a love of eclectic sound. After stepping back in the 2000s, he returned with The Melting Pot on Vocal Booth Radio — a genre-blurring journey through soul, reggae, dub, disco, drum & bass, house, techno, hip hop, and jazz. Expect seamless blends, deep storytelling, and a dancefloor philosophy where boundaries dissolve and music speaks universally.

A selection of tunes to accompany you on a 45-minute walk — very early in the morning, maybe before you’ve even had your coffee.

I imagined putting myself straight out the door after just waking up. No scrolling. No noise. Just a need to recalibrate. So from the very first track, we ease into that slightly melancholic, thoughtful space — the kind that helps you breathe a little deeper and feel a little more.

A gentle reminder that this could be the last time we get to do this. So let’s go deep. Let’s explore something soulful. Something from the heart. With love, gratitude… and all that hippy stuff.

I loved putting this together with that sentiment front and centre, digging deep and following the feeling.

Let’s talk. xx

The Bedford Falls Players – Bio

The Bedford Falls Players are an electronic music project formed by DJ Mark Cooper in collaboration with Terry Farley, founding member of the legendary Boy’s Own collective. Drawing on a rich heritage of UK dance culture, the project blends classic club influences with contemporary electronic production.

Rooted in a shared love of house, Balearic, and underground sounds, The Bedford Falls Players create music that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking, combining groove-led rhythms, atmospheric textures, and a deep respect for dancefloor culture. Their work reflects decades of experience behind the decks and in the studio, reimagined for modern audiences.

The Bedford Falls Players sit comfortably at the intersection of club music and storytelling, delivering tracks and sets that resonate with both long-time dance music devotees and new listeners alike.
