🌿 Can Your Gut Help Reduce the Food Noise — Naturally?

Ever feel like you’re constantly thinking about food — what to eat, when to eat, what you “shouldn’t” eat?
That endless chatter in your head has a name: food noise.

For many women after 50, hormonal and gut changes can make that noise even louder — leading to cravings, emotional eating, and frustration when it feels impossible to make lasting changes.

But here’s the good news -
Your gut isn’t just about digestion — it’s deeply connected to your appetite, mood, and the way your brain regulates hunger signals (including your body’s own natural GLP-1 hormones - the hormone that's in those weight loss drugs - Mounjaro, Wegovy, Ozempic).

My new free guide, “Can Your Gut Help Reduce the Food Noise Naturally?”, explains:
✨ What food noise really is
✨ How your gut and hormones play a part
✨ 3 simple gut-friendly shifts to help you feel calmer and more in control around food
✨ Plus — my go-to fermented and fibre foods you can easily find in the shops

📘 Download your free copy today and start quieting the food noise — naturally, without dieting or medication.

💬 And if you’d like personalised support or want to explore how this applies to you, book a free chat with me. I’d love to help you find a calmer, more confident way to eat.

Ever stood in front of the “probiotic” aisle and thought… where do I even start?

With kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, yoghurts and supplements all competing for attention, it’s no wonder so many people feel confused. The truth is: not all probiotic foods are created equal.

✨ The good news? A few simple checks can help you spot the options that truly support your gut health and healthy ageing — without wasting money on clever marketing.

That’s exactly what I’ve shared in today’s carousel 👉 swipe through for:
✔️ What to look for
✔️ What to avoid

💬 Tell me in the comments — do you feel confident choosing probiotic foods, or does it feel a bit overwhelming?

And if you’d like me to share my personal favourites, just drop the word FERMENT ⬇️

With GLP-1 being mentioned everywhere at the moment I think it’s important to remember that this is a hormone your body produces naturally.

Whether you are

📌Using GLP-1 meds
📌In the process of coming off the meds
📌Curious about the meds
📌Would like to use the meds but can’t for some reason (can’t afford them, worried about side effects etc.)

You could benefit from supporting your gut health and your bodies natural production of GLP-1 by including fermented foods and fibre into your meals.

Here are some simple ideas you could start doing today -

Fibre -

💡Replace white bread with rye bread
💡Add beans or lentils to a salad, curry or stew
💡Add avocado to your salad or sandwich

Fermented foods -

💡Use natural live yogurt or kefir to make salad dressings
💡Add a spoon of sauerkraut or kimchi to your salad
💡Switch an alcoholic drink to a bottle of kombucha

Let me know if you found this useful or if this is a topic you want to hear more about 😊

Have you ever reached for food when you weren’t physically hungry- and then felt guilty about it?

What if it wasn’t about food at all….
But an emotion asking to be noticed?

Start gently asking:

💭 What am I really feeling right now?

You might be surprised by what comes up.

💛Save this post and come back to it next time a craving strikes.

❓Has this ever happened to you?
❓What emotions tend to show up most for you?

You don’t need more control, you need more choice.

Psychological flexibility helps you recognise what’s going on underneath emotional or binge eating. When you understand more you respond in a way that aligns with your values.

Stay tuned for more information and some simple steps that you can try.
