Breathing Naturally is Julie Hand, a Bournemouth based yoga, breath awareness and dance for health teacher. I believe that Yoga is for everybody and there is a form of yoga out there to meet all tastes, while still retaining the essential aim which is simply to '....still the mind.' My yoga is gentle and restorative, using flowing movements and an awareness of the breath to help melt away tension
in the body and mind. Without an awareness of the breath, there is no Yoga. Our mind and our energy form a dance throughout our life, one leads the other, alternating in strength and dynamic. Just as Yoga connects mind and body, dance connects mind and body, with the added bonus of rhythm and creativity. The essence of both dance and Yoga is JOY!On this page I hope to share knowledge and wisdom from ancient sages and contemporary thinkers. I hope it will be a place to share exercises and ideas.
