Peacefully at Arran War Memorial Hospital after a short illness on Saturday, 4th October 2025, aged 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Archie, much loved Mum of Hazel and Bobby and proud Granny of Colin and Fraser.
Funeral service in Brodick Church on Thursday, 9th October 2025 at 11:30am and thereafter to Lamlash Cemetery to which all are respectfully invited.

Peacefully at Arran War Memorial Hospital on 23rd September 2025. Much loved husband of Jackie, lifelong hero to daughter, Sandie and much loved dad, father-in-law and grandad of Brian, Eleanor, Ruby and Jasmine.
Funeral service at Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, 8th October at 11:00am followed by refreshments at Lamlash Golf Club from 15:00. All are welcome to either or both. As a result of sudden cardiac arrest our beloved Gemma died in the Golden Jubilee Hospital on Friday, July 4, age 44, despite gallant efforts by the paramedics, police, doctors, fire brigade and helicopter crew. Funeral at St. Bride's Church, Brodick on Wednesday July 23, at 11:30am, then at Kilbride Cemetery, Lamlash. Flowers welcome. Wear what you like - stylish headwear encouraged amongst the ladies.

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, aged 74. Very much loved and sadly missed by Allan, Jennifer, Lesley, Marion, Martin, Gavin and all the family. Funeral service to be held at Whiting Bay Church, July 2, 2025 at 11:30am followed by the committal at Lamlash Cemetery. Thereafter at the Lamlash Bay Hotel.

Passed away peacefully at Arran War Memorial Hospital with her family by her side after a short illness on 8th June 2025 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Alasdair, much loved mother of John, Alasdair and Alan, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and dear friend to many.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Friday 27th June, 11:30am at St Molios Church, Shiskine followed by interment at Clachan cemetery and the family invite everyone to Kinloch Hotel for refreshments and to celebrate mum's life. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to ArCaS. Transport will be provided from the 9:15 ferry from Troon and returning for the 17:20 from Brodick. It is advisable to book the boat as the 9:15 from Troon is often busy.

Robert Sillars, aged 66 years, born in Stronsay, Orkney and formerly of Sannox and Brodick, Isle of Arran. Passed away at St. Heliers Hospital, Surrey, on June 13th, 2025.
Loving son of the late Anna and Robert Sillars. He will be greatly missed by his twin sisters Edna and Anne, their families, his many friends both in Scotland and in England, and at Gatwick Airport, where he worked for many years.
He will be in our hearts forever.

Thanks to North Ayrshire "Care at Home", Arran Medical Group, OT, Physio and District Nurses. Special praise and thanks to all the staff at Arran War Memorial Hospital for their final care of Stevie and their support.
Committal at Sannox Cemetery on Wednesday, 21st May at 11:30am, followed by reunion of family and friends at Corrie Hotel. Transport available from 9:15 ferry leaving Troon and returning for the 17:20 leaving Brodick.
