Sessions are still on for tomorrow – despite Storm Amy trying to steal the spotlight! We’ll check conditions in the morning to make sure everything’s safe, but a bit of wind won’t blow us off course.

To celebrate our first full year in business, we’ve given our website a little refresh! It’s always exciting here at Stonesthrow Towers, and we’re thrilled to share some beautiful new photographs from 📸.

We’ve also added a new calendar feature so it’s easier than ever to see where we’ll be on any given day—making it simple to plan your next sauna session.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us in our first year - it's been amazing and we hope for many more!

The sauna is warming up for social sessions from 11am at Whiting Bay today! Lots of availability to enjoy the sunshine ahead of the autumn equinox on Monday - fingers crossed the weather won’t change too quickly! 🤞🏼 see you at the sauna!

What a morning! And what a treat for me! Normally, I’m responsible for the admin of Stonesthrow but today - while Andrew was off playing chess against a Grand Master (!) - I got to host the sauna. And what a pure joy it was.
A quiet coffee overlooking a mirror calm sea that almost merged with the sky. A warm sun shining, the mainland only dimly visible, as the sauna heated up. I think I’ll be in for a bit of competition to swap computer scheduling for this idyll more often!

Well, we didn’t blow away today! If you didn’t either, and you aren’t waiting on a ferry (or even if you are!) come and see us for some hot therapy in the sauna and a cool dip in the sea.

If you’re at a loose end during your holiday, why not try a sauna?! We’ve got lots of availability for social sessions at Sealshore Campsite in Kildonan tomorrow and Wednesday.
This could be your view while you relax in the heat! A stonesthrow from the water, and (hopefully) a clear blue sky! We can’t promise, of course!
