Hello all.
I wanted to share with you the news I shared this week in my groups.

I have made the very hard decision to step away from Slimming World as a Consultant after 12yrs 10mths. I have recently had a promotion at work, and with 2 teenagers embarking going their next stage of education, I am increasingly finding it hard to get to group and do all the 'behind the scenes' parts.
My last 2 groups will be Mon 20th and Wed 22nd October ... BUT ... please be assured the groups will continue and not close, and will be looked after by local consultants until a permanent one can be found.
So, keep losing weigh and smash your targets xx

Can anyone recommend somewhere looking for a 17yr old to work weekends & some evenings please. Matthew is trying to raise money for his big scouting event and earn some pocket money too, but we can't find any jobs being advertised. Have tried taking CV with no luck. Thank you

Looking for some help/advice. My daughter who is nearly 17 is looking for a summer job working in the care industry, before going back to college in September. She has messaged Helping Hands, but I wondered if any of you lovely people may know of somewhere else or a different route for her to take. She wants to get some experience for her CV and if she can make some pocket money at the same time, that would be great. TIA

Such sad news. Had the privilege of meeting this amazing lady a few times. She has changed SO many lives for the better ❤️💔

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that our beloved founder Margaret Miles-Bramwell OBE passed away earlier today, surrounded by her family.

As well as being our guiding star and the beating heart and soul of Slimming World, Margaret will be remembered for being a much loved mum, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Since founding our precious organisation 55 years ago, she has loved, nurtured and protected it – along with each and every member, staff member and Consultant who’s been a part of the Slimming World family. Margaret steered her ship in the way she lived her life – with a generous spirit, passionate conviction, a wicked (and rebellious!) sense of humour and a fierce belief in doing the right thing.

Her determination to help people shed the burden of excess weight without shame or guilt has seen Slimming World grow from a single group in 1969 to the global authority in weight management that it is today. She undoubtedly touched hearts and changed lives for millions of people – and for all of us who knew and loved her. She’ll continue to do so for many more years to come.

Our thoughts are with Margaret’s family. We take comfort, as we’re sure they do, in the hope that Margaret is now reunited with her beloved Tony – sailing off into the sunset together. https://bit.ly/42F5Eia
