There are lots of things to consider when thinking about adoption especially if you already have children. An important thing to think about is the age gap between children. Research shows giving each child space is advisable which is why we recommend a significant age gap of at least two years with the adopted child being the youngest. Many prospective adopters find that the thought of going to panel brings up feelings of nervousness. Those feelings are perfectly normal- after all, it’s not every day that we are expected to answer questions in front of a group of strangers! There is no need to worry, however.
