Another weekend, another marathon - this time in the magical city of Venice - what a fabulous adventure! Needless to say, legs are very sore today 😬🤣

It’s usually quite quiet during this half term so do come along if you’re around and keep us company! The only class NOT running is tomorrow morning’s Mash up but all others are on as usual, so hopefully see you all later / tomorrow evening / later in the week!

All classes on as usual this week up to and including Wednesday evening, then I’m off for a few days to run marathon number 35 (I think?! 🤔) in Venice - yay!! Can’t wait!

See you all for Fitness Pilates, Dancefit, Tuesday mash-up, Fitness Flow, kettlebells and Fitness Yoga! (Taper?! For the weak!)

Hey team! Class changes this week:

Fitness Pilates & Dancefit tonight both at the St Laurence Room (I’m bringing the bands again for some pinging fun!) 🤣 - bring on the carnage!

Wednesday evening - we have no hall so kettlebells will be at 6pm online provided there is more than one person 🤣 If you don’t usually come online drop me a message and I’ll send you think link - £3.50 for non members, included in membership for everyone else!

Tuesday morning mashup and Tuesday evening Calvert Green Fitness Flow are running as usual 😊😊😊

Big shout out to the behind-the-scenes Winslow Fitness partner for smashing Ironman Wales yesterday- one of the hardest Ironman courses in the world and he aced it 💪💪💪

He attributes his fitness almost entirely to Fitness Yoga on a Wednesday evening…just sayin’ 😉🤣

Fitness Yoga - my fave class of the week! Stretch, relaxation, strength, lovely people and chilled out tunes ☺️☺️☺️

It’s the best thing you can do for your body and mind - honest! Lower your stress levels and sleep better (definitely required the older we get!) as well as loosening up tired and achy bodies -what’s not to love?!

7.40pm Calvert Green on Tuesdays
6.45pm Winslow on Wednesdays

A bargain £7!

Hey gang! All classes are on as usual this week - albeit with very stiff legs today from my 34th marathon yesterday!

Hard work (finally!) paying off! My second prize in 2 weeks - after 6 years of not winning anything, it’s AWESOME to be back 🥇🏆🎉

I’m no way near as fast as I used to be, but I’m also 10 years older than I was at my fastest - the important thing is that we keep going and don’t give in to the narrative that we get weaker, achier and more sedentary as we go into menopause and head towards our 50s (😳😳 yikes!)

I’m lifting heavier weights, still winning stuff in races, running more miles than I have ever done 💪💪💪 (maybe napping a bit more too but let’s gloss over that!)

Bring on the FV50 category next year!!

(Also all classes running as usual this week - though I might be a bit lazier than usual as have a marathon on Sunday!)
