Kicking off our new women’s support group just before Christmas…? You think that's crazy?
Let me explain, why I think, it’s actually really great!
For many women in midlife, the run-up to Christmas often means exactly that: a lot of running around and feeling overwhelmed. With year-end work deadlines, children’s hopes, and family traditions, there are plenty of demands to juggle. You probably wish there were more hours in each day!
So, when you finally get a moment to yourself, indulging in some cake, Christmas cookies, or a glass of wine feels well-deserved and all too tempting.
Consequently, stress and sugar end up being major parts of your holiday experience!
Stress and sugar, however, are also two of the main triggers for a lot of menopausal symptoms, including weight gain, fatigue, brain fog and more!
So, why do I think it’s great to have our first session before Christmas?
1. You’re prioritising your own needs, making time for yourself! You stop the rushing and instead enjoy meaningful connections with other women experiencing similar challenges—reminding you that you’re not alone!
2. You’ll gain practical tools, fresh ideas, and insights to help you handle Christmas stress and extra calories better! Enjoy that cookie without worsening your symptoms!
