We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to share that Visiting Angels North Devon & Cornwall has been nominated for Employer of the Year at the South West Care Awards! 🌟

This is such a special honour for us, because at the heart of everything we do are our amazing caregivers. Being a truly carer-centric company means we are committed to supporting, valuing, and listening to our team every single day.

By offering fair rates of pay, paid travel time, and ensuring our caregivers feel supported and heard, we strive to care for them just as much as they care for our clients. 💙

To be recognised for something that comes so naturally to us makes this nomination even more meaningful. We couldn’t be prouder of our team and the difference they make in people’s lives every day.

Thank you to our incredible caregivers – this is for you! 🙌

💫🪽KINDNESS🪽💫

Kindness is at the heart of everything the Visiting Angels team brings to homes across North Devon and Cornwall. It’s seen in the way carers take time to truly listen, in the patience they show, and in the small, thoughtful moments that turn care into genuine connection.

For carers, kindness means going beyond tasks—it’s about understanding each client as a person, respecting their independence, and bringing warmth into everyday routines. A shared laugh, a reassuring word, or simply being present can make all the difference.

For clients, that kindness builds trust and comfort. It helps transform care into companionship, creating relationships that feel supportive, dignified, and human.

Within the team itself, kindness is just as important. Colleagues support one another through busy days, share advice, step in when needed, and celebrate each other’s efforts. That sense of teamwork creates a positive, caring environment where everyone feels valued—and that energy naturally carries through to the people they care for.

Across North Devon and Cornwall, the Visiting Angels team shows that kindness isn’t just part of the job—it’s what defines it.

A great day of learning with the team at Visiting Angels North Devon & Cornwall! 🌟

Our Registered Manager delivered some fantastic catheter training today, reinforcing our commitment to high-quality, face-to-face learning. We truly believe that in-person training makes all the difference — giving our caregivers the chance to engage, ask questions, and build confidence together.

The session was interactive, informative, and most importantly… fun! 👏

We’re proud to invest in our team so they can continue providing the very best care to our clients. 💙

🪽💚🌎Happy World Earth Day 🌍💚🪽

Today, all of us at North Devon & Cornwall Visiting Angels are celebrating the beautiful world we’re lucky to call home. From our stunning coastlines to our rolling countryside, we’re reminded every day how important it is to care for our environment—just as we care for the people in our community.

Small actions can make a big difference. Whether it’s reducing waste, reusing where we can, or simply taking a moment to enjoy nature with those we support, every step counts.

Let’s work together to protect our planet—for today, and for future generations.
