We’re looking for a child aged 12–24 months to take part in a special one-off pilot study at Norwich Castle Museum on Tuesday, 15th July (2–4pm).

You’ll explore the Natural History Gallery with your baby in a carrier while they wear a small, lightweight eye-tracking headset. This will help us better understand how families engage with museum exhibits and what captures infants’ attention in this setting.

⏱ The study takes just 10–15 minutes, and you’ll be with your child the whole time.
🎁 Participants will receive a thank-you book, and we’ll cover parking/bus costs.

This is a short-notice opportunity, so if you're free and up for something a little different, we’d love to hear from you!

CATS can provide a highly specialist neurodevelopmental diagnostic service for children and adults with a visual impairment. Access to a high-quality assessment can be challenging for children and adults with a visual impairment for a number of reasons, including overlap of eye condition symptomology, assessment tools which are designed for a sighted population and lack of specialist expertise in the assessing team.

At CATS we have a specialist team who are qualified to carry out diagnostic assessments for children and adults who also have a visual impairment. Our team includes:

🔹A Paediatrician with a special interest in visual impairment
🔹A Qualified Habilitation Specialist with over 20 years’ of experience working with children with visual impairment
🔹A Paediatric Occupational Therapist with many years of experience working with children with visual impairments.
🔹Clinical Psychologists
🔹Speech and Language Therapists
