Hi I’m Sarah x

I thought it was time to reintroduce myself properly for all the new faces here.

Over the years, yoga became so much more to me than movement. It became a way to slow down, reconnect and feel more grounded in myself. One of the reasons I now teach is because I truly believe yoga should feel accessible and welcoming to everybody, whatever your age, shape, size or experience.

That belief is really where Flint Essence began.

Alongside teaching yoga, I also have a background in workplace consultancy. I work with organisations supporting people and teams through periods of change, pressure and complexity with a focus on creating calmer, more human spaces to work in.

Whether it’s through a yoga class, Pause Circle, workplace session or simply a quiet moment shared here online, my intention is always the same:
to create spaces that feel grounding, supportive and real.

My hope is that Flint Essence feels like a space where you can soften, breathe and simply come back to yourself for a while.

Not all stress looks like burnout.

Sometimes it looks like:
– feeling unheard
– over-explaining yourself
– working a bit harder for connection
– staying slightly on edge

Over time, this can keep the nervous system in a quiet state of fight or flight.

And because it’s subtle, we often don’t recognise it for what it is.

Regulation isn’t just about slowing down.
It’s about experiencing moments where you are met, heard, and don’t have to push.

That’s where the system begins to reset.

What looks like “small moments” are often the ones that change everything.
