As we mark the 81st anniversary of the end of the Second World War, here at Porthaven Care Homes we would like to pay tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom as well as those who worked hard to support our nation throughout the conflict.

Yesterday we held our very first Tool Box Group session, our residents enjoyed making some lovely bird boxes, which will be painted and proudly displayed next week. Everyone had a wonderful time getting creative and hands-on together.

We had a lovely afternoon today celebrating VE Day with the wonderful D-Day Dollies 🇬🇧

There was lots of singing, smiling, and reminiscing, and it was such a special day for many of our residents who shared memories and enjoyed the celebrations together.
