Today we completed our first Balanceability session at Burnham! 🚲✨
The children had a fantastic time beginning their cycling journey. They started by getting familiar with their balance bikes, exploring how they move and feel, before practising the basics of riding.
Balanceability combines specially designed ergonomic balance bikes with a structured programme of fun, skill‑building activities. These activities help children develop confidence, spatial awareness, and dynamic balance — all essential skills that enable them to learn to cycle without ever needing stabilisers.
The children engaged brilliantly, showing enthusiasm, determination and lots of smiles throughout the session. We’re excited to continue building these skills over the coming weeks!
