Thank you to all who came to my Summer Sound Bath at vibrations and energies were so high that I think everyone had some sort of vision or experience throughout. Quite a few reported on numbness and pins and needles which is a great indication of the energies flowing through you.

Wow, just wow! The energies were INCREDIBLE at Preston Ethical Spiritualist Church last night; Ed and I love the energy about with the church when we do mediumship there, but last night’s sound bath was fantastic! Whilst meditating during the day I was told we would be concentrating on the throat chakra so I knew it was going to be “heady” but people reported they had leg twinges, had vivid visions and had headaches so all kinds of healing was going on!
Thank you to Preston Ethical Spiritualist Church for allowing me to come and deliver a Sound Bath at your beautiful church, we would love to come again!!
My last sound bath for the summer is at then I’m taking July and August off to recharge and do some healing work myself. But I’ll be back in September!!

Don't forget we are closed this Sunday for Father's Day and are back open on Tuesday with a 90 minute Extended Evening of Mediumship with Jane Exley starting at 7.30pm until 9pm. Admission is £4 on the door and £3.50 for our church members.

Our next big mediumship event is a Mediumship Special with Steve Holbrooke on Thursday 3rd July. Steve is an extremely well-known and popular medium and we're lucky to be able to have him back at PESC. This will likely be a sold out event. Tickets are £15 and as we get closer the tickets are now selling quickly.

For those that have an interest in physical mediumship we are very fortunate to host this very special event with a well known international name within physical mediumship. Personal Experiences of Physical Mediumship with Ann Harrison. Ann has spent 30 years sitting in experimental circles and experiencing physical mediumship. These talks don't come up often where you can hear first hand of what the Spirit World can do with the right séance conditions including full materialisations, direct voice and matter through matter.

The most beautiful serene evening at the floating sound bath at the night was just perfect. The water temperature was 28 degrees and the air temp 32, which makes it a beautiful tropical temperature- people said they felt cold which I will take as a compliment: when having a release your body can twitch/spasm get hot or cold or you cry; so I know that the sound waves touched a lot of people tonight as I had reports of all three symptoms 🥰🥰.
The next floating sound bath at the Dunkenhalgh is on 12th July and we’re having a special “birthday” price for members (would you believe I have been running sound baths there for a year now?!?!) 🌴.

Camera man fell asleep during the sound bath last night so not many photos! Tonight we did a grounding root chakra balance with a bit of third eye thrown in; I bet everyone slept well last night. My next sound bath at Basically Cheer will be after the summer holiday- see you then!

The Science of Smudging: What Sage Does to Bacteria
Smudging is the ritualistic burning of sage (usually white sage) and other herbs like 🌿cedar, sweetgrass, or lavender.
This practice is typically performed using a bundle of dried sage leaves, called a smudge stick, which is lit and allowed to produce smoke.💨
The smoke is then gently wafted through the air using a feather🪶 or hand, while intentions of cleansing or healing are set.
The aromatic smoke produced by burning sage has long been believed to have purifying properties, and practitioners of smudging often use it to cleanse homes, objects, or even people.
But beyond the spiritual and psychological benefits, does burning sage have any measurable impact on the physical environment?

🗝Key Findings:
• The study found that burning medicinal herbs like sage significantly reduced the number of airborne bacteria. In fact, the smoke from the herbs eliminated up to 94% of airborne bacteria in a closed space within just one hour.
• What’s even more impressive is that the air remained almost completely free of harmful bacteria for up to 24 hours after smudging. Some potentially pathogenic bacteria were absent even after 30 days in the smudged environment.
These findings suggest that the antimicrobial properties of burning sage could indeed help reduce the presence of bacteria and other microbes in the air, making it a viable option for air purification in enclosed spaces.

How Does Smudging Work?
The antimicrobial effects of sage smoke are believed to come from the bioactive compounds found in the plant, including volatile oils and terpenes like 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol), camphor, and thujone.
When burned, these compounds are released into the air and may interact with the cellular structures of bacteria, effectively neutralizing them.
