I’ve spent too long in survival mode…
wired for danger, expecting the worst,
carrying trauma that taught me the world wasn’t safe.
Always alert. Always braced. Always ready.
But I don’t want to live like that anymore.
I don’t want to just survive!!
I want to feel safe. In my body. In my mind. In my life. I want to thrive, i want to be able to trust people, and to do that i have to be able to lower my guard enough to allow that.
So i am excited to be starting a course on reseting the nervous system and stopping self sabotage because i do deserve the same happiness in life i wish for everybody else.
I deserve a lot more than ive ever given myself and i deserve to say goodbye to the version of Lyndsey that suffered,the alter- ego that had to be vigilant and on guard 24 hrs a day, that kept herself small and invisible and settled for less in all aspects of life, who had to learn how to fight physically and mentally to protect herself 24/7 because she deserves to rest now too 💜
So this is my soft girl era -
not because life is easy…
but because I finally realised that i deserve peace and safety too ✨

Today I did something I’ve never done before,
I gave reiki to a horse.
His name is Springer, And you could feel it straight away… the anxiety, the sadness, the heaviness he was holding.
But the moment he let me in…
something shifted.
Not just in him - in me!!
I stood there with this huge, powerful, majestic animal and I cried.
I felt it.
Because animals don’t hide.
They don’t pretend.
They don’t wear masks like we do.
What they feel, is what is.
And when they trust you with that?
When they allow you into their energy,
it’s an honour you can’t even put into words.
No ego.
No ulterior motives.
Just pure, innocent energy.
Today reminded me why I do this work.
Not for validation.
Not for attention.
But for connection… real, raw, soul-level connection.
Today was an experience i’ll carry with me for a very long time 🤍
