Lots of people with or without knowing gave me so much insight and help which prepared me as a yoga teacher. My sister in law who is a school teacher gave me this first gem “spend more time reflecting on how the class went than your actual planning”…. SO valuable…
My experience with made me really value planning full stop (these guys are genius programmers) and I think my time with them just made me realise how much I personally value having archives of lesson plans to hand and to be organised (I’m a Pisces sooooo I love to dream and create sequence 😂 but order is often the missing jigsaw)🧩

I’m learning every day something new…

🧘‍♀️ The job of a lifetime teaching yoga in the most brilliant gyms and studios. I am very happy I never got accepted as a police officer 15 years ago.
🏊 Watching the kids swim together; at the same time finally.. it’s a beautiful thing.
* I often only share the good… 😌 take what you see on Insta with a large pinch of salt. I’m grateful for these moments of joy .. being a human being in this busy world and raising family’s and generally managing our loads is really not instagramable mostly 😂 Instagram is like a bolthole of glimmers .. but I’ll take those 💓

Your Sunday Check In …

“We are what we repeatedly do,” (Aristotle)
Pay attention to the small details in your daily routine.

I recently moved around my own yoga practice time for me; switching from day to night; a few reasons: a) I’m less time bound b) I tend to overthink if I do not move my body at this time of the day c) my body feels more receptive to moving. (This is just what works right now and when it no longer works/satisfies it will then change / we invite something else that will be more serving).

So now I roll the mat out just before bedtime to really focus on my own body and mind. I had been neglecting this and that’s ok because it reminded me of how much I need it.

Quite often we have to forget something to remember it and revisit it.

So if this is a reminder to you to get back in touch with something that is good for you; it may be a workout schedule or connecting with a friend or loved one - or a small daily ritual that lifts your soul! What ever it is…maybe go and seek out that connection again.

Remembering and resonating with the words from post I posted 2 years ago…note to self: Breathe 🧘‍♀️

Lavender and geranium aromas lift my house as I prepare eye pillows for fresh clients next week. This week I have 3 new yoga clients and I will turn up at their homes to take them through a class of their choice; some want full on party anthems and power yoga (you know who you are my girl 🪩) and others want more meditation and a zen flow.. I love being able to offer these sessions that allow you to relax in your own space and enjoy your much needed down time; whether that’s a lunch break or a day off.

I hope you’re all zenning into Sunday evening.
And if you’re feeling the Sunday scaries try and remember what is within your power ‘right now’. You are in the drivers seat of your week ahead xx
