In 1988 I was at a Herbalife training with the late, great Jim Rohn, something I was blessed to do every month for over 2 years, and he came out with one of his all time classic quotes. He said:

Wow! What a succinct way of putting something so powerful yet so simply that we could all understand.

🌿 Presidents Workshop 35th Anniversary 💊

I’ve been reflecting over the past couple of days on the 4 days which changed my life in so many ways.

On the 21st to the 25th of January, 1988 having sold $6,500 of product in December 1987, we boarded a plane at London, Heathrow and headed to The Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. For 3 days we were trained in

- Sales by Larry Thompson
- Personal Development by Jim Rohn
- Nutrition by Mark Hughes

35 years later I am still in the supplement business, still listen to Jim Rohn and Larry Thompson, and am so very grateful for everything we were taught back then, and still continue to be taught to this day. I use that training every day.

Thank you Mark, Larry and Jim for a lifetime of Inspiration. 🙏

🗓 42 years ago today, on February 01, 1980, 23 year old Mark Hughes, the boy from the wrong side of the track, started a company called Herbalife in Los Angeles. His first customer was his grandma. He said ‘Grandma you’re fat, you need to get on this stuff’. In his first month he sold $23,000 of product from his car. The rest is history.

I got involved 7 years later and this year is my 35th associated with Herbalife.

34 years ago today, I sat in a room in Los Angeles being trained in nutrition by Mark Hughes, sales by Larry Thompson, and personal development by Jim Rohn at the second ever Herbalife International Presidents workshop. 3 incredible days which I will never forget.

In the evening we donned our tuxedos and ate together, danced together and had a drink together. It’s because of these three people that I do what I do today. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. 🙏

I have just been informed that one of the top Herbalife distributors of all time, Founders Circle Member Alan Lorenz, has sadly passed away in hospital today.

Alan was a truly inspirational leader and has been at the top of his game since he first became a distributor when Herbalife came to the UK in 1984. The photo below was taken of us in Chicago in 1987.

R.I.P. Alan, you were a true leader. I’m sure you, Jim Rohn and Mark Hughes will be having a ball up there. 👍

Last night I completed and submitted my final draft for a chapter in a book called “Bringing Value, Solving Problems and Leaving a Legacy”. My section features events and challenges leading up to my 1st channel swim in 2007, and the legacy left by it. The book will be released in early 2021 and is an international collaboration by Leaders, Entrepreneurs and Success Mentors from Kyle Wilson’s Inner Circle. 😎

TODAY IS JIM ROHN''S 90th BIRTHDAY!

In June 1987, I had the distinct honour to meet Jim Rohn at an International Herbalife Supervisor workshop in Chicago.

In January 1988, I qualified for the second ever Herbalife President's Workshop with Herbalife founder, The Incredible Mr. Mark Hughes, the "Billion Dollar Man" - Mr. Larry Thompson, and America's Foremost Business Philosopher, Jim Rohn. It is because of all three of them, Mark, Larry and Jim, that I do what I do today - help people change their lives through good nutrition (the Body) and personal development (the Mind).

Today, on what is Jim's 90th Birthday, I am sharing the notes I took on the very 1st morning session of that workshop on January 22nd, 1988. Some people will read and digest these notes and take action, others won't. That's just how it is - the law of averages in action. I hope those who digest them, find them as inspirational as I have over the years.

Happy Birthday Jim, and as I sit here listening to one of your seminar's, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for over 33 years of your continued wisdom. R.I.P. 🙏
