This afternoon I took my water, wide brim hat and Calm Buddy on a bumble to Stumberlina vintage!

It was warm but not too hot!

It’s def turning into part of my Selfcare! So nice and mostly in the shade!

Loved it!

✨ Such a lovely, full-on day today ✨

Started with a cuppa and a Zoom tea break with the fab Emmy of Empathy Holistics and Claire of Mini Me Time Bury and Rossendale ☕

Then straight into summer sizzler ☀️ planning with Kelly Reynolds Socials this afternoon (get ready… it’s going to be GOOD 🔥)

All finished off with a lovely meeting with my daughter’s teacher to talk all about year 1 transitions and what an absolute star she is! 🌟

Just one of those super productive, admin kind of days.
Can’t quite believe there’s only a week left of school now 😲

🫖 Fill Your Cup

A gentle invitation to pause, receive, and restore everyday! But I am hosting a special week from Sunday 27th July with lots of special ideas for you all!

This theme centers around the idea that we can't pour from an empty cup — and sometimes, simply sitting together, breathing, or sharing a moment of peace is enough to refill what's been quietly drained.

💫 Ways to “Fill Your Cup”

🧘‍♀️ For the Body
A warm herbal tea shared slowly (lemon balm, chamomile, or peppermint)

Simple stretches or gentle rocking movements

Hand on heart breathing: "I breathe in calm, I breathe out kindness"

🧠 For the Mind
A “brain break”: 5 minutes of quiet, soft instrumental music or nature sounds

Gratitude pebble: hold a smooth stone and whisper one small thing you're grateful for

Colouring quietly with warm tones (cups, teapots, sunrises)

Not to give my secrets away! but here are a few ideas for the mini Buddies in your lives this summer:

🕯️ Indoor Calm Corner Ideas
Perfect for care home lounges, community rooms, or sensory spaces.

1. Cozy Tent or Teepee Space
Fairy lights, soft throws, gentle books, scent diffusers (lavender/orange)

Pairs go in to rest or cuddle up together (or sit nearby)

Soft instrumental music or heartbeat soundscapes

2. Hand Massage & Aromatherapy
Buddies gently massage hands of residents using safe, calming oils (guided by you)

Use lavender, chamomile, or a custom “Together Blend”

Add a mindfulness bell or gentle breathing cue to begin

3. Stillness Story Time
A slow, rhythmic story read aloud by one of the older adults, or by a Buddy

Breathing breaks between pages, cuddle cushions for everyone

Optional: include a soft toy to pass around as the “calm keeper”
