Do you know what’s really interesting about Graham Nash?

He’s a grammy award winner, two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has sold collectively over 30 million albums in his solo career and groups, has gold and platinum records, and yet…

…he once said, in an interview, that his biggest fear is to be found out. To be found out that he’s not that good, not that special.

When I heard that, I thought, “How is that possible?”

“He’s had massive success, yet he still isn’t confident that he’s great.”

Why is this important?

Because you have so much greatness within you that is being hidden away by your fear of not being good enough.

You have this INSANE amount of potential that wants to come out.

Yet, we actually take it and shove it under the bed so it can’t come out and be seen.

We lock it up in the closet in fear that we’ll be seen as someone other than who we want to be seen as.

The thing is, you don’t have to feel like some incredible, special person to do incredible things.

You just have to be yourself. Because you already are incredible, just as you are.

Let yourself be who you are. Stop locking yourself and your gifts away.

For me, this has been a tough and long lesson to learn. And I’m still working on it.

That’s why I’m able to talk about it. Because I know what it’s like to have potential that you’re stuffing away, and I can tell you… it does no one any good.

There’s so much life inside of you, so much potential waiting to be unleashed. Don’t waste it.

As Wayne Dyer said, “Don’t die with your song still inside of you.”

What is the song inside of you that’s trying to be heard?

You have permission to dream, to be unreasonable, to be scared, to feel uncomfortable with your own ambition, to want more, to strive for the best, and to just be you.

Go be it! Go get it!!

If you want to accomplish more and enjoy the process, then you’ll want to read this. 👇👇

This is an email I sent out, yesterday, to a group that I’ve been coaching for over 6 months now.

Since we’ve been together for so long and have been so persistent — planning our weeks, reviewing our actions, thoughts, and emotions, and striving to be better — we’ve been able to deepen our insights into what really creates success for us.

Here is an excerpt from the email…

“ There were some major takeaways from this call:

• You can bring more joy and peace into the process of accomplishment.

By being present and aware of what you already have, you bring feelings that we're often striving to create in the future, into the present moment.

• We can't control our circumstances but we get to choose what we do with them.

• Life is calling for us to step up and take action on the things we aren't ready for.

When we do things that we aren't ready for, we grow in the process of figuring them out and become capable.

• We have to let go of who we have been to make room for who we could be.

It's the challenging, hard, and uncomfortable things that will bring us the most change.

That's why they're hard... because they change us.

We have to be willing to let go of who we were to become who we can be. And we have to STRIVE for that!

We have to be working on letting go, daily, and embracing a higher potential -- a higher standard for our life.

What is one thing that you will work on letting go of this week?

It could be a thought, an attitude or mood, a behavior, a judgment...

Choose one thing and actively work on letting go of it.

At the same time, ask yourself, "How would my best self act in this moment/situation?"

Find that next level for you, that higher nature, that higher standard for your life.

I was insecure when I first wanted to make an impact, here, on social media.

Then when I tried to make an income from it… My God! I was a tornado of avoidance, procrastination and doubt!! 🌪

But now…

I feel motivated, focused, and confident. 🌄

I’m able to stay focused for long periods of time, to catch myself when I procrastinate, get motivated again, and to take consistent action.

Out of all of these, I believe the 2 most important are confidence and consistent action.

That’s because confidence is what allows me to take action.

And consistent action is really what creates success.

From this journey I’ve been on, everything that I’ve learned to create these transformations from:

💫 procrastinating… to motivated
💫 self-sabotaging… to self-supporting
💫 distracted… to focused
💫 overwhelmed… to productive
💫 doubting myself… to feeling confident and capable

…is what I used to create the methodology in Total Freedom Blueprint.

This method is composed of 4 working parts:

What it was like for me when I FIRST started posting on Instagram

When I first started, I had to walk through the fires of fear.

the fires of not knowing where to start

not knowing what to say

the fear of what people would think

the fear of losing followers

starting without any direction.

I went through a long and intense discussion with myself about all these fears and challenges.

And ultimately, I had to take a leap of faith.

I had to just surrender to it all, and let go of who I was to embrace doing something new and different.

What I wanted to do was important to me. I wanted to help people.

And I realized that I had to stop judging myself if I was going to be able to do that.

🌟 I told myself that I just had to share what I knew…

…to accept that I don’t know all the answers, I AM NOT PERFECT, but I know that we ALL know something we can teach others, and I CAN help someone if I just start.

But if I don’t start, I never will.

So I started.

It was awkward. It was scary. It was fun. And it was completely different than what I’m doing now!

It’s been a journey – I’m still on it – and everything I’ve been through as has been worth it. 100%!

The top thing solopreneurs are doing wrong when it comes to taking action that actually moves the needle

is focusing on the results they don’t want.

Maybe you want to go out there and announce that you’re in business, share a powerful but vulnerable story, or start networking, but when you imagine it happening, you think of things not going the way you’d like them to go.

You imagine the pain of failing, embarrassment, letting people down or letting yourself down, and you make a quick, unconscious decision to wait until later, when you’re really feeling inspired.

I want you to really understand how importance this is, so I’m going to break it down:

🔸 When you’re imaging how something will be in the future, you’re creating an experience of it in your mind.

🔸 The mind informs the body, causing an emotional and physical reaction. Which we call an experience.

So, you’re literally creating experiences that you actually don’t want to happen.

And what’s worse is, we make judgments about the future based on our experiences in the past.

So, if you continue to think this way, you’re strengthening your negative beliefs and fears towards things that could actually bring you great fulfillment and success in your life!

🔹 So what’s the solution?

Focus on things happening exactly how you want them to!

Close your eyes imagine the situation playing out perfectly.

Feel all the positive emotions, feel it in your body.

And do that over and over to create and strengthen positive expectations and beliefs.

The point is, you get certainty about something in your mind.

And you can create certainty in your mind even before it happens. Whether it’s good or bad.

So we must be very careful about the thoughts we let into our mind, and be intentional about which ones we put in.

The best piece of personal and business advice I’ve gotten

can be summed up in 2 words.

“What’s next?”

My dad, who’s been an entrepreneur for about 40 years, taught me to always focus on and keep asking, “What’s next?”

This exact question is something my very first coach also emphasized to me very strongly.

There’s two parts to the power of “what’s next?”

1️⃣ Firstly, this doesn’t let you get satiated or too comfortable with what you have. If you do, growth stops there.

Asking “what’s next?” guides your thinking towards growth and expansion.

2️⃣ Secondly, focusing on the next step helps prevent overwhelm.

Often our focus is on the next 10 steps.

And we get paralyzed because of the amount of effort, time, and even fear that we experience from the accumulation of thinking about 10 steps at once.

“What’s next?” is a guide to focusing on the task at hand ONLY, then when it’s complete, find the next step and focus solely on that.

⭐️This is how I break goals down to accomplish them with consistency and without overwhelm:

• Know my outcome or destination.
• Break it down into major steps or checkpoints.
• Break each major step down into specific actionable • steps.
• Focus on the first step.
• Check in, refocus, take action.
• Repeat

Understanding success is really that simple.

However, mastering our thoughts and emotions is not so straightforward.

Before moving to Brasil, I spent time every year at a spiritual community in Northern California.

They have a forgiving saying there which is, “Everyone has a past.”

It means that your past doesn’t define you or control what you’re able to do today.

We all have done things that didn’t support our health or our growth, and maybe even done things we aren’t proud of.

Leave them in the past. We always have the ability to consciously choose what we do each day and who we want to be and become.

Your action at this moment is what’s important.

Keep coming back to what you can do right now, and leave the past in the past.

If you can forgive yourself and let go of who you were, your possibilities for the future are endless.
