It's International Nurses Day!

Let's take a moment to celebrate the incredible nurses who provide care, reassurance, and support every single day.

Nurses are often the people who bring calm during stressful moments, compassion during difficult times, and comfort when it’s needed most.

Their dedication goes far beyond treatment alone. They make a lasting difference to the lives of patients, families, and communities every day.

Thank you to all nurses for the skill, kindness, and commitment you bring to healthcare.

Happy International Nurses Day 💙

You cannot skip this one!
Yellow fever is a serious viral infection spread by infected mosquito bites. It mainly occurs in tropical parts of Africa and South and Central America. Many people have mild illness or no symptoms, but in some cases it can become severe and life-threatening.

When to get vaccinated?
You should have your first yellow fever vaccine at least 10 days before travelling.
This allows immunity to develop and ensures your certificate is valid for entry requirements. Your Yellow Fever certificate is then valid for life.

Where do you need the Yellow Fever Vaccine for?
You may need the yellow fever vaccine if you are travelling to a country where yellow fever is present or visiting a country that requires proof of vaccination for entry.

This includes travel to parts of:
Africa — e.g. Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda
South America — e.g. Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia
Central America — e.g. Panama
Caribbean — e.g. Trinidad

Some countries without yellow fever risk may still require proof of vaccination if you are arriving from a risk area.

28/04/2026

It’s World Immunisation Week, which is an excellent reminder that it’s time to get your travel vaccines in check!

You should aim to get your travel vaccinations courses completed six to eight weeks before you’re due to travel as your body needs time to develop immunity. Some vaccines will require multiple doses spread over several weeks or months.

We are proud to announce the launch of the new Versatile Enigma website 🎉

Combining clinical excellence with operational precision to bring mobile healthcare closer to communities across the UK.

Our partnership between Enigma Healthcare and Versatile Healthcare is built around a smarter way to deliver care, combining clinical expertise with mobile treatment units to create flexible, scalable solutions that meet patients where they are.

At the heart of this are our mobile treatment units: fully compliant clinical environments that can be deployed rapidly and integrated seamlessly into existing healthcare systems. From diagnostics and vaccinations to community health initiatives and pop-up clinical services, we enable care to be delivered quickly, safely and at scale.

Together, we’re expanding access to high-quality mobile clinical services across the UK and beyond, whether that’s a single unit or a nationwide fleet, always with the same focus on reliability, consistency and patient-centred care.

Our turnkey approach also supports the NHS 10-Year Plan, helping Trusts and ICSs move care closer to the community through hybrid, portable, virtual and static solutions that integrate with Neighbourhood Health Centres and Community Diagnostic Centres.

We’re incredibly proud of what this partnership represents and even more excited about what’s ahead.

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month is an important reminder not to ignore symptoms, even if they feel minor or uncomfortable to talk about.

Colorectal cancer is a type of bowel cancer that affects the colon or re**um, and early detection can make a significant difference to outcomes.
Mr Dale Vimalachandran is our Colorectal specialist, and is here for you.

Symptoms such as bleeding, changes in bowel habits, abdominal pain, or unexplained fatigue can sometimes be linked to conditions like haemorrhoids, but they can also indicate more serious colorectal conditions, including bowel cancer.

The importance of early diagnosis has been powerfully highlighted by Deborah James, a UK journalist and campaigner who raised national awareness of bowel cancer after sharing her own experience with the disease. Her work encouraged thousands of people to recognise symptoms early and seek medical advice.

At Enigma Healthcare in Tarporley, patients can access specialist colorectal assessment and haemorrhoid treatment in a discreet, professional environment, with fast access to experienced consultants and personalised care.

If you’re experiencing:
• Bleeding from the bottom
• Persistent changes in bowel habits
• Abdominal pain or discomfort
• Unexplained fatigue or weight loss
It’s always worth getting checked. Early detection can make a significant difference.

This Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, don’t ignore the signs. Prioritise your health and seek expert advice if something doesn’t feel right.

Put your health first — book in with the team today.

Pelvic pain that keeps coming back isn’t something you should have to just live with.

For many women, this can be linked to endometriosis — a condition that often takes years, not months, to be diagnosed.

It can show up as:
• Painful or heavy periods
• Ongoing pelvic pain
• Pain during or after s*x
• Bloating or discomfort
• Difficulty getting pregnant

Many women spend years trying to get clear answers, often feeling unheard or dismissed along the way.

At Enigma Healthcare, we take the time to really listen, understand what’s going on, and help you take the next step with confidence.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust that instinct — it’s always worth getting checked.
