The decorations were up and ready but the weather decided to turn up late 😔
It didn't stop us taking our celebration indoors to celebrate VE day....

Colouring activities, word searches, a quiz (as this is always a definite at our events) and a lovely sing along to end our celebrations...

Reminiscing always brings the smiles and memories our residents treasure most 🥰

Massive thank you to the staff, our wellbeing coordinator, kitchen team, carers and of course family members who joined us 🤍🧡

Abermill has enjoyed doing arts and crafts 🎨🧑‍🎨🖌️ creating some lovely spring pictures. Bringing the bright vibrant colours to light in our home 🌺🌼🌷🌸🌹
And who else forgets who owns what mobilising aid? So we decided to "pimp our rides" with personalised number plates to identify these easier...what do you think 🤔

What a day to get some vitamin D...
Soaking up some sunshine with a fruity ice lolly from our lovely kitchen team 🍦🍧

Of course some of the ladies had to be at their best and enjoy a pamper beforehand 💅

And when the gent's have finished their gardening they decided they wanted to open up an in house carwash 🚘🧽🧼🚘

Did you see that bright thing in the sky today....🌞😎

Well our lovely B enjoyed an overdue outing with her daughter and grandson to caerphilly soaking up the sun, views and of course a lovely cake and cuppa 🍰☕

Whilst back at Abermill we also enjoyed a coffee morning, reminiscing and adding to our garden project, soaking up some of that vitamin D, the little breeze did not hold us back 🥰
