Running over six weeks the course includes;
· Baby Massage
· Baby Yoga
· Baby Sign Language
· Effective Ways To Use Songs and Rhymes
· Play Activities to Boost Sensory and Body Awareness
· Tummy Time Techniques
· Cuddles, Smiles, Bubbles and Lots of Fun! Discovery Tots: 8 Weeks to Crawling
“For Babies who Love to Learn using their Whole Body and all their Senses”

Through the classes babies will develop and improve;
•Body awareness and gross motor skills.
•The functions of the brain through a wide range of stimulus for all the senses.
•Social awareness through the group environment.
•Communication skills through the use of sign language, songs and rhymes
•Bonding between parent and child. Plus you will be introduced to simple songs and activities that can be carried on at home to continue the learning and development process. Each class consists of a number of activities including:
Baby Yoga, Movement and Music
Multi Sensory Play
Baby Sign Language

Social Tots: 8 Months to 3 years

👋 Hello everyone.. quick break in between admin and accounts🙃.. the hard work behind the scenes that gets done to keep the business running.

I'm Samantha, business owner and class leader of Tots Play Caerphilly, Ystrad Mynach and Blackwood with over 20 years of experience in education- former secondary school teacher (teaching Design & Technology, Health & Social care, and Child Development) and 10 years running Tots Play classes in Caerphilly and Ystrad Mynach. 👌
And most importantly mum to 2, not so little boys (my youngest just turned 13 and my eldest is 15). 💕

🫶I've most recently been training Ffion, fellow Tots Play mummy and we've taken on the Blackwood area to also bring more classes and learning through play to more Tots and their grown-ups.

➡️We're on half-term break this week so I'm just catching up with everything and answering all your emails and queries, plus doing all the boring paperwork bits! (I absolutely love sharing our structured play class with you all, not so much the paperwork... but needs must!!).

What a crazy day of weather it's been today

Thank you all for joining me.. just got to dry off as I got soaked packing up the car and I'll sort all class photos from today.

I wanted to share the photo taken by one of the fantastic volunteers, Sarah, at this afternoon... I noticed as we were finishing up in our Baby Development Course but didn't snap a photo.

🌈How very fitting, a double rainbow over the beech tree that is awaiting removal due to safety, as it's unfortunately diseased.

🌳End of an era. Lots going on at The Miners tomorrow before its removal, so do pop along between 10-12.

REINVENTING THE BABY CLASS 💖 INTRODUCING OUR BRAND NEW BABY TRANQUIL COURSE!

At Tots Play we've been supporting parents and babies for 15 years, and while many of the joys and challenges of the early days with a little one remain universal, over that time the pressures and expectations on new parents have grown and grown, at the same time as they are often be becoming more and more isolated from others and from a wider support system.

Making sure you feel supported as a parent, while offering lots of developmental opportunities for your little one, has always been a big part of our ethos at Tots Play, but recognising the changing pressures on new parents, we wanted to do more.

So we’ve reinvented the baby class - our brand new Baby Tranquil course is unlike anything we've offered, or you will have experienced before, with you, and your wellbeing at its heart, plus the opportunity to find a community to nurture you through your parenting journey.
