SHE DID IT!!
Our very own Natasha, training lead for South Nottinghamshire, successfully completed the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon on Sunday. Not content with donating hundreds of hours of her time every year. Tasha is also raising funds for St John Ambulance - and there’s still time to donate in recognition of her achievement. We love working with schools and colleges to give students skills and knowledge for life, and an insight into career options. And with that, the 2025 season (very nearly) comes to an end.

Thank you to every one of our volunteers for the thousands of hours of their time given to support our communities across events large and small, local and around the country. From the Robin Hood Half Marathon to the Great North Run and the London Marathon, from Sneinton Festival and Nottingham Green Fair to Nottingham Light Night and Day Fever, we were there keeping you safe. We also provided hundreds of hours of community education and engagement at schools, colleges and Notts Police Mini Fun Days.

Our volunteers will be out once more for 2025, working with Nottinghamshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Nottinghamshire Police to deliver first aid, emergency care and a safe space for New Years Eve in Nottingham city centre tonight. Keep safe, and say hello to the team!

On 2nd September, Beth is flying out to Spain to attempt to complete The Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in aid of St John Ambulance Nottingham. This will not be easy for her as she lives with CRPS Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome) in her knees and has minimal blood flow to her left foot as her blood vessels are connected the wrong way round.
