The event is aimed at older residents living in the South East of the city. It is free to attend and will bring together a range of local services, community groups and health professionals to share practical advice and support to help you look after your health and wellbeing.

Moments That Matter
A hands-on, creative, programme that nurtures health and wellbeing. Designed for everyone, with accessibility at its heart.
Moments that Matter is a free 8-week programme for older adults (aged 65+), part of our Museums for Life
initiative aimed to support social connectedness in later life. Creative activities throughout the programme
will be inspired by the Museum’s collection.

The Fitzwilliam Museum
Tuesdays (10:30 – 12:30)
10th February – 31st March 2026
Everyone is welcome, though the programme particularly welcomes older adults with mental health
challenges, who may be experiencing social isolation, and those who haven't previously participated in a
programme at the Fitzwilliam Museum.
Booking required as places are limited.

We are very lucky in Cambridge to have world class museums. Museum Boost is a programme of FREE monthly dance sessions inspired by stories from the University of Cambridge Museums and taking place at Mill Road Community Centre in Cambridge.

The sessions run on Fridays from 2.30 to 4pm:

Friday 27 February
Friday 27 March.
This is a partnership programme between the University of Cambridge Museums and Cambridge City Council.
