New venue for Singing Mamas Cambridge! From January Singing Mamas Cambridge will now meet in St Andrew’s Street Baptist Church at the slightly earlier time of 10-11.30. New members welcome. No experience of group singing required. We welcome all women - with and without children. Places can be booked via Happity (taster sessions, block bookings and single sessions available).

We had our last evening song circle of 2025 on Sunday and it seemed appropriate to sing the beautiful and rousing Wax and Wane by the amazing Penny Stone . It was particularly poignant for me as my Nana, Vera has very recently passed away and singing Wax and Wane this week has really allowed me to process all the things she has given me that I get to take with me on this journey through life.

This week I also got to collect my Singing Mamas Christmas Tree which I decorated for our local Christmas tree fair with the names of all the women who have been joined my groups this year and quotes from some of the songs we have been singing. I am so grateful for all the women who have come along this year and it has been such an honour to sing with so many of you.

I spent this Saturday in London at the latest Singing Mamas Leader Development Day and got to witness lots of amazing women stepping into this beautiful network. I also got to meet other leaders who so far I’ve only seen online. Singing Mamas has brought so much joy and connection back into my life over the past year and I am so looking forward to what another year of this work will have in store for me and the women who come to join me.
