Another brilliant loss for Michael Stefan Firek this week.

2¾lbs which means he is only 4½lbs off reaching his target of losing 2st!

AMAZING EFFORT!

Doing the 1:1 Diet with me, isn't just about losing weight, it's about changing habits and being supported the whole way through.

Mick has openly said he hasn't missed beer during the week and was surprised that he hasn't missed certain foods either.

He's also more mindful of what he eats too. He had a cheeky takeaway last week but only had fish and mushy peas - no chips then ate well for the rest of the week, while continuing some great exercise.

Michael Stefan Firek came for his weekly weigh-in and was a bit disappointed that he hadn't lost anything this week.

He'd had a good week with food, drink and diet so we were confused as to why he hadn't lost anything.

HOWEVER it suddenly dawned on Mick that he was wearing jeans! 😆

He usually weighs in shorts.

Re-weigh minus the jeans and Mick has lost 2lbs!!

WHOOP WHOOP!

The clothes you wear to get weigh in can really make a difference.

9lbs left to reach his final target.

Well done Mick - you're doing brilliantly!

Michael Stefan Firek's brothers are coming today so we decided to weigh a day earlier so he can relax a little bit with food and drink while they're here, rather than a weigh-in looming over him for tomorrow.

Mick's had a mixed week and had a match-day burger and a few beers so thought he may have put pounds on....

WRONG!!

Mick lost 1¼lbs this week despite his little slips! 👏🏻

PROGRESS IS PROGRESS - it doesn't matter how small.

Now Mick is off to collect his brothers from the station and enjoy a weekend with them. We've had a chat about what he should eat and drink this weekend so he doesn't completly ruin his progress but can still enjoy himself.

Life goes on even if you're on a diet so planning ahead helps you not feel like you have to avoid social situations.

Well done today Mick. Have a great weekend

Second week is complete for my client.

He didn't find it as difficult as he thought, although he is still getting used to calorie counting.

He isn't missing the beer as much as expected either.

So did the scales back up the good week he thought he had?

(Bear in mind you always lose more in your first week as your body gets used to the change in diet).

My client lost...

4lbs!!! 🥳

That makes a total of 12lbs lost in 2 weeks on Step 3 and just 2lbs off his first stone!

WOOHOO! 😁

My father-in-law decided to do the diet with me and has kindly said I can share his progress on social media.

He started last week and along with following the plan (Step 3), he has cut out the booze and continued his walking and swimming, plus has drank over 2½ litres of water every day.

Michael Stefan Firek has just had his first weigh-in and has lost...

8lbs!!! 👏🏻🥳

AMAZING!

He won't lose that much next week as this week, his body has been readjusting to the lower amount of calories, plus he cut out certain foods and drinks but if he keeps doing what he's been doing this week, he'll still have a brilliant weight-loss.

Losing weight can be challenging, especially in the first few days.

I can PROMISE you that whatever weight-loss challenge you face, I've faced it too on my own weight loss journey, or know someone else that has.

For example...

DAY 1 ON THE 1:1 DIET (in a Big Brother Voice)

8am
🧠 - Let's lose this weight!
❤️ - We love biscuits too much!
🧠 - We don't need them everyday.

11am
🧠 - We are DOING IT 👏🏼. Let's have a well deserved cuppa (it's part of our water allowance)
❤️ - You NEED a Tea Biscuit to dip in your cuppa
🧠 - No we don't...sweetner and a splash of milk is all we need.

2pm
🧠 - Still DOING IT 👏🏼. Yeah baby!
❤️ - NEEEEEED BISCUITS!
🧠 - Nope! Our tummy ISN'T rumbling so we are NOT hungry...we just have an appetite.

5pm
🧠 - A great day! We CAN do this! 💪🏻
❤️ - You NEED double-cooked chips with dinner...they are AMAZING!
🧠 - No we don't- salad and a couple of new potatoes are fine.
❤️ - Spoil sport

DAY 2 ON THE 1:1 DIET:

🧠 - WE CAN DO THIS! 💪🏻
❤️ - Not again! We need chocolate today 🍫
🧠 - No we don't!
❤️ - I'll keep trying to tempt you...ALL DAY!
