Staying with the crowd might be comfortable, but if it goes against your morals and ethics, then have the courage, integrity, and conviction, to step away and follow the path that aligns with your values.

You may be looked at differently, you may be called weird, you may even be hated, but if you know that what the current society calls normal isn’t actually morally or ethically right, you can be the change you’d like to see!

You don’t have to continue to go along with things just because MOST people do it, if you know deep down it’s wrong, YOU can change, you don’t have to wait for society to catch up to do the right things.

Many people can’t watch slaughterhouse footage because it’s despicable and cruel, yet they literally pay for it to happen - I think most people do care , do have empathy , and don’t like cruelty to animals , but the learned disconnect from early age creates cognitive dissonance. Start aligning to your values and morals , the status quo is WRONG , and deep down most people know it!
