2gether Support Solutions warmly welcomes Jo Hills as the new Chair of 2gether Support Solutions, following the departure of George Jenkins OBE, who stepped down in the spring. Jo brings over 20 years of board-level and executive leadership experience. She has a strong record of building high-performing, sustainable organisations and improving service delivery with a clear social purpose.

Jo is a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Management Institute. Her professional background includes senior roles at Deloitte, local government, and housing associations. She is particularly experienced in making the best use of estates and facilities, ensuring services run efficiently, meet high standards, and deliver excellent experiences for customers.

We also welcome Robert Musgrove, who joined the Executive Board as a Non-Executive Director in Common with the Trust on 1 May 2025. Robert is a Chartered Civil Engineer and holds an MBA from Henley Business School.
He has 25 years of experience leading transformation programmes in areas such as infrastructure, property, and sustainability—supporting clients including the Ministry of Defence, the Home Office, and the NHS. Robert currently works for IBM Consulting, where he is the UK Lead for Digital Real Estate and Sustainability.

This National Laundry Day we want to thank and celebrate our brilliant laundry department colleagues who process over 130,000 pieces of linen a week, which is the equivalent weight of four double decker buses!

Last week K&CH and QEQM took part in a 150 mile bike ride to raise money for Endometriosis UK. Endometriosis affects 10% of women in the UK and over 190 million women worldwide.

Candice Mears-Bouisk, Facilities Service Manager at K&CH and Penny Hodgson, Training and Induction Officer at QEQM, shared that collectively their sites raised over £2,400 on the day for Endometriosis UK!

Well done to everyone involved – your collective efforts, support and tenacity in raising this money will help to make such a positive difference.

🛏️🏥Over two days last week, William Harvey Hospital's clinical staff and 2gether Support Solutions staff conducted a large-scale audit of all foam mattresses and covers. 🙌

Starting Tuesday morning, teams worked diligently in both the bed store and across wards, replacing mattresses with new or pre-audited ones.

Project lead Nurse Specialist Francesca King commended the massive combined effort, highlighting the supportive nature of the teams involved.

2gether Support Solutions is excited to announce a new partnership with Anchor Sandwich Co, bringing an even wider selection of healthier, delicious sandwich options to restaurants across our three acute sites.

To make it easier for you to choose which sandwich to go for, the 2gether Team has introduced new, clearly labelled packaging, highlighting whether a sandwich is meat, fish, or vegetarian. Plus, we’re proud to say that the packaging is fully recyclable, supporting the Trust’s ongoing sustainability goals.

Polly-Anna Terrey, Director of Facilities, said:

“We’re delighted to offer this enhanced range of sandwiches to our Trust and 2gether colleagues. Anchor Sandwich is a local business, based in Ashford which means we are supporting local manufacturing and reducing our carbon footprint which positively contributes to the Trust’s Net Zero ambitions. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Anchor Sandwich to expand our offering, particularly for salads and other ‘grab and go’ options."
