Name- Sturgeon Supermoon
Supermoon- This is the 2nd of 4 supermoons in a row. Supermoon means that it's the full moon, when the moon is closest to the earth on its orbit. It can be up to 8% bigger and also up to 16% brighter.

Other names- Grain, Harvest, Barely and Herb moon.

Why is it called that- Simply put, it's when the Sturgeon are most abundant, Grain-herb would be because that's when you would harvest these products.

Spiritual meanings- this is when we are aware of what we are harvesting this year and giving thanks for it.

Tarot for this full moon- I will be doing 5 card readings for this moon. They will be as depicted in the picture and mean the following;

2. What helped me during the harvest?
3. What did I learn?
4. Where do I go from here?

So after yesterday's tease of a post.
Today I will go into more detail of the spread that I did.
As I said yesterday, each quarter, known as a quadrant, gives insight into an area in your life.
These quadrants are governed by the 4 elements, earth, wind, fire and water. They also coincide with the 4 suits of the tarot deck.
It doesn't so much matter where on your spread you place the elements as long as your intentions are set.

Water- Cups- Emotions and love.
Fire- Wands- Passions, creativity and will.
Earth- Pentacles- Material body, possessions and career.
Air- Swords- Change and reason.

Onto the cards themselves;
1-4 These are the cards that will give an overall picture of what is going on within the aspect they are placed on, think of them as overseers.
5-8 These are the cards that are drawn to give clarity on situations within their aspects, can be as many cards as needed, I usually like 3 as it gives a clearer picture of what's going on.
You can think of each quadrant as its own reading.

It truly is amazing how the same card can give such different messages!
Yes there is a standard meaning that you can find in books and on the internet. Balance, peace, patience, moderation, calm and tranquillity.
BUT... Intuition can change that meaning!

Get ready for a reading with me 🥰 yes... GRWM 🤣

Step 1- Quiet mediation for at least half an hour, connecting with myself and the universe, opening myself up to the messages that I need to receive and pass on.
Step 2- Cleanse the area where I will be doing the reading. 🕯️

Let's talk about something...
There is a certain perception of some cards, one of the most misunderstood is the Death card.

What people think it means; I'm gonna die, my family is gonna die, everything is going to fall apart, my life is over!!

What it actually means; the end of something and the start of something new. A revolving door, one that closes so another can open.
Not something to be afraid of, usually is an indication that you need to let something go.

New moon!
Yes it's that time!
It's the new moon today.
Known as the Sturgeon New Moon.
This new moon is in cancer.
With this new moon it will push you to confront issues that may be below the surface, that's in the back of your mind. Makes you question why you're holding onto these things? Is it still an issue or just a habit now?
If it's not still an issue, it's time to let go and move forward. It won't be easy. Self reflection never is.

All sign placements will be affected by this new moon. But Cancer and Capricorn placements may have a more difficult time than most as they tend to hold onto things more.
