We had a lovely celebration at Sycamore yesterday to mark our recent CQC inspection outcome, with an overall rating of Good and Good in every area.

This is a meaningful milestone for us and reflects the hard work, care, and commitment our whole team has shown over the years, as we have continued to build on our early foundations and develop a strong, supportive service.

To celebrate, we brought everyone together for a relaxed afternoon. With a team representing over 20 nationalities, staff were invited to wear colours connected to their heritage, and we shared an incredible spread of food from around the world, including dishes from the Philippines, Nigeria, Romania, England, and Ireland.

It was a genuinely special event. The feedback from staff has been really positive, and the food went down very well.

Moments like this remind us what makes our team so special, and we are already looking forward to the next one.

What a wonderful day at Rotherlea!

We were delighted to welcome Louise from Serenade Singing, who brought her usual sparkle and energy. Residents had great fun dressing up in scarves and hats, singing along, and soaking up the lively, party atmosphere, Louise is always a firm favourite!

The fun didn’t stop there… it was also time for our monthly Bingo! With tasty prizes like Mars, Bounty, Milky Way, and Twix up for grabs, there were plenty of smiles and a lot of excitement.

We have been enjoying some lovely moments recently at Llys Hafren, including a walk to feed the ducks and a pizza making activity.

We’ve had such a lovely few days at Wellesley Road Care Home.

We kicked things off with a special birthday lunch out in the community for one of our residents – a wonderful way to celebrate.

Residents from Wellesley Road and Maitland Park also enjoyed a fantastic afternoon celebrating St George’s Day early, joined by the amazing Pearly Kings from Finsbury Park. There was plenty of laughter, singing, and reminiscing as everyone took a trip down memory lane.

Residents also stayed active with a fun morning of exercise led by Hassan, and made the most of the beautiful weather with lunch and a glass of wine in the garden.

On Friday we celebrated Nia on her last day at Market Lodge! Over the past 2½ years, she’s done an incredible job, making a real difference every day.

But there’s even more reason to celebrate – Nia recently achieved her Level 5 Leader in Adult Social Care qualification and earned a distinction in her end point assessment this week!

We’re so proud of everything she’s accomplished and wish her all the best in her next chapter!
