Getting colour right is always the best starting place to achieve an elevated image. It has the power to showcase your features lighting you up, making your eyes pop and giving you complete clarify with what to invest in and what to avoid.

Meet one of my clients from last week who looked incredible in her colour palette. Here I’m comparing her in a SOFT dominant palette (someone with blended features like Jennifer Anniston) compared to a CLEAR and contrasting palette (Katy Perry). What do you think?

Welcome to 2026! 🤗

As we start a new year I thought I would take this opportunity to reintroduce myself. I’m an image consultant and have helped countless women achieve their best possible image from top to toe and build their dream wardrobe that fully supports them. From discovering your best hair colours and styles to makeup, outfitting and accessorising I’ve got you! 💃

Prior to being an image consultant I worked for over 20 years in the corporate world in senior positions so understand the power of dressing for job you want mentality.

It’s so important to be intentional when dressing as it not only lifts your mood but people will treat you differently and it’s this that opens up doors to new opportunities!!

These 3 simple steps will immediately give you a more stylish look in 2026:

1. Layering elevates your look immediately as it shows sophistication and intention with how you present yourself. Mixing casual and more formal pieces allows you to achieve an effortless style that’s not too overdressed or casual.

2. Tailored pieces not only showcase your shape more but look more expensive, immediately gaining you respect. If you have oversized pieces in your wardrobe get them altered for a polished look.

3. The devil is in the details. Smart well kept shoes and bags are a must and your jewellery, belts, hats will add interest to individualise your look.

That’s a wrap! 😎

It’s tricky to know what to pack for a Caribbean cruise in our winter. There’s always going to be a few things I should have left behind and a few things I wished I brought with me! Here’s my top packing regrets if you’re heading somewhere sunny this winter:

☀️ leave the clingy tops behind and bring the looser tops, even longer sleeve bardot styles in some brighter colours and floral prints.

☀️have fun with your outfits - it’s the place to ditch the neutrals for sure and go brighter. Wish I had some shorty body suits in bright colours too to wear with my rollerblades on 🤣

☀️ wish I’d switched my nail colour from Christmas red to bright coral! 💅🏻

☀️ brighter lipsticks in pinks and corals too. 💄

☀️ more holiday accessories- from headbands, hats and daytime summer jewellery.

☀️ one pair of neutral heels would have done instead of 3 pairs!! 👠

☀️Short dresses are a must compared to longer ones as too hot and clingy. The Caribbean is definitely more casual than say Dubai.

☀️ bring at least 2 pairs of sunglasses one for best one for beach

☀️ towel clips to keep your towel on the sunbed on top deck

☀️ Denim whether it’s shorts or jeans for sure they’re always useful - biggest regret no jeans!! 🤣

It’s one thing I’ve really enjoyed helping my clients with last year during their wardrobe reinvention, from alpaca knits from Peru to heavyweight knits from Iceland and even a scarf that was given by their first boyfriend!
