WHO HERE LIKES THEIR FEET?

I've lost count of the number of times patients have said to me "I don't know how you can do this job!"

As we age it can be a real struggle to get to our feet.

👣 Many people are embarrassed and don't want to ask a family member to help them. As a consequence some feet are seldom checked.

👣 This can lead to excessive nail growth, causing difficulty walking, causing discomfort and there's potential for injury which can lead to infection.

So, it's really just as well there are people here, like me, to care for feet. There is not much I haven't seen and nothing will shock me.

Sadly, there are many people out there who really are in need of foot care.
If you have someone in your life who needs day to day help, don't be shy in asking them "How are your feet?"

Don't hesitate to contact your HCPC Podiatrist. That's what we are here for.
