Job Vacancy
We are currently looking for a part time Assistant within No. FORTY FOUR Sandwich & Coffee Bar.
Main Street Brampton.

You will be required to work in a busy fast pace takeaway, food delivery and coffee shop environment.

Your duties would include, cooking, food prep, taking orders, handling money and other payments, pot wash, general cleaning & tidying.

It would also be an advantage to have a full driving licence to help with deliveries.
You must be flexible within business hours. Hours would vary depending on requirements of business.

Good luck to Janette Smith who is getting ready to open her No. Forty-Four sandwich and coffee bar next month.

She has been busy fitting out the new premises on Main Street opposite the Spar and is excited to be back running a café after the success she had with the Corner House in Carlisle.

"I missed it so I am going to be doing it all again," Janette said, adding: "The food will be all homemade and locally sourced. I do a lot of outside catering and in here we will have sandwiches, breakfasts, jacket potatoes, soup and afternoon teas.

"The emphasis will be on people taking the food away, but we will have a few seats for those who like to have a natter."

Janette was born in Brampton and is currently living in Hallbankgate where her daughter, Charlotte, goes to school. She also has a son at William Howard School.

Keep an eye on the page for updates on the opening date in March. Or Janette can tell you more at her fitness classes at Brampton Community Centre where she runs Fit & Fab on Mondays and Tuesdays.
