Sweet potato’s are rich in fibre which supports gut health, they have a lower glycemic index which can help support blood sugar balance, and they are loaded with antioxidants and packed with nutrients including vitamin A, C, B6 and potassium.

January often comes with a wave of pressure to overhaul our health and nutrition habits overnight. We set huge goals with the best intentions, but the reality is that many of them are unrealistic, overwhelming, and nearly impossible to maintain beyond the first few weeks.

The truth is, January might not be the best time to pile on expectations. We’re coming out of a busy, emotional holiday season, navigating darker days, colder weather, and general need for a rest- not sprint into a complete lifestyle transformation.

If your January goals did not go as planned, that does not mean you have failed. It means you’re human. Sustainable change is not tied to a date on the calendar; it starts when you are ready, with goals that support your life- not fight against it.
