APRA BOOKS was founded in the mid 1970’s, as a fund raising section of the Nottingham based Anomalous Phenomenon Research Association. With one exception, we now trade exclusively in books and pamphlet material relating to all aspects of the Occult including: Alternative therapies & medicine, Divination, Earth mysteries & Fortean phenomena, Folklore, Occult studies, Psychic research, Witchcraft a
nd associated Pagan material. The exception mentioned, is that we are also one of the very limited number of traders in the U.K., that specialise in book and pamphlet material relating to Atheism, Freethought & Rationalism from the 18th. Century to the present time. The books shown here will regularly contain a number of these items. At any given time, we have an average stock level of between 4,500 & 5,000 second hand (and even tenth hand) books. It is our intention to use this facebook site, to showcase a selection of the items from our extensive stock. We would therefore suggest regular return visits to both this page and our main web site.
