It’s been a while! Life has been tricky lately and some things just have to be ‘parked’ until ready to go again. I came across these reminders for overthinking and it really helped me pause and reset, so I’m just going to leave them here in case it helps someone else…❤️

Mindfulness can make you feel calmer, giving you a tool to handle tricky emotions or stressful moments. It’s a bit like learning how to pause and check in with yourselves, so you can make better choices and feel more in control. Mindfulness also encourages appreciation of the simple things in life that we often forget.

So, take a mini-pause (brain break) whenever you feel too busy, stressed, or worried.
Look around to see and hear everything closely.
Notice the good things, no matter how small, and take a moment to appreciate them.
Instead of rushing, enjoy each part of what you’re doing.
Give it a try, it takes minutes…❤️

What APCAM say ⬇️❤️💪 (also a great, local Organisation 😊)

🧠 Neuroplasticity - your brain’s incredible ability to change and rewire itself.
The thoughts you repeat, the habits you build, the stories you tell yourself… they all shape the pathways in your brain.

🌱 The good news? If anxiety has trained your brain to live in fear or overthinking, you can gently train it back toward safety, calm, and trust.

Through tools like:
✨ Breathwork
✨ Mindfulness
✨ Therapy
✨ Reframing negative thoughts
✨ Daily self-compassion

You’re not broken — your brain’s just been protecting you in overdrive. And with kindness and consistency, it can learn a new way. 💛

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week. This year is all about coming together for mental health through our communities.

Being part of a positive community is good for mental health and wellbeing. It helps us to belong, feel supported, and have purpose.

There are some good tips and resources from local and more national mental health charities out there. Take some time to have a look. I’ll also post a few things throughout this week that might be helpful too ❤️

Mental Health Awareness Week 2025 is taking place 12 to 18 May, and the theme is Community.
