This is what I’m looking for when I’m teaching:
Not just whether an exercise is being done “correctly” —
but how it’s happening in the body.
I’m watching for signs you can:
• soften away from tension
• find length through your body
• feel more connected with — and even enjoy — the movement
And also the opposite:
• tension held in your jaw
• bracing through your chest or ribs
• movement that feels painful or effortful
Often it’s subtle.
But these small shifts — from holding and pushing
to something more supported and connected —
are where things begin to change.
Does your body respond in any of these ways? 👀
