Why You Should Avoid Exercise for 24 Hours After Injectables
When you’ve just had injectable treatments, whether it’s anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, or polynucleotides, it’s tempting to head straight back into your usual gym routine. But giving your body a full 24 hours of rest is really important.
Here’s why:
• Reduce Bruising & Swelling
Exercise increases your heart rate and blood flow. This can raise your risk of bruising, swelling, or even moving the product away from the intended area.
• Prevent Infections
Gyms and workout spaces are full of bacteria and sweat. Your skin has tiny entry points after treatment, which need time to close and heal, so skipping a workout helps reduce infection risk.

Your skin and tissues need calm conditions to settle the product in place. Avoiding strenuous activity for a day gives your treatment the best chance to deliver smooth, natural results.
