Have you had or are you having a big change or trauma in your life?

Have family and friends listened to your woes and told you to 'move on', 'it could be worse', 'look at all the wonderful things you have to be grateful for'?
You probably want to scream at them, but then you end up telling yourself the same things, whilst fighting back the tears or trying to fend off the cacophony of feelings bombarding you on a daily basis.
Recent research has shown that it is better to let those feelings out. They won't be worse if you do so. It may be painful to feel them, but it will allow your mind and body to process them and, then, to let go of them.... read more in my weekly blog at www.mindprocoaching.co.uk

You Get More of What You Focus On. .. sometimes it's hard to change the habitual things you focus on, but you can take control. Eventually this becomes habitual. At the start or end of the day focus, for 5 minutes, on 3 things you are so happy to have (it may be a sunrise or birdsong, it may be your children) and 3 things you've achieved (just getting out of bed is a huge achievement sometimes!). If you focus on what you don't have and haven't achieved you'll end up stressed and down. Our words and thoughts make our reality and you can change yours today.
