Some of my February eats so far 🙊🐷
There’s no doubt about it - I am a HUGE foodie. And this is one of the things my clients love most about working with me. Yes we sometimes need to restrict certain foods to allow the gut to repair BUT my aim for every single client is to get them enjoying food again and eating out, rather than fearing it. Food for me is such a big part of life and my clients always feel the same. When my clients come to me often they feel so defeated and deflated that they can’t eat some of their favourite meals or enjoy meals out with family & friends without worrying about how their gut might react.
And I get it because that used to be me - I used to get so anxious over eating out because of “what if my gut reacts and I’m not near a toilet” 😅
But if I can overcome all of my digestive issues and be able to enjoy food again so much so I become a foodie, so can you!
Here’s some of my foodie favourites from this month so far 🥰
1) roast is 10/10 you need to go! And their scotch egg WOW (and I don’t even like scotch eggs usually 😂). If you have fur baby make sure you take them with you!
2) for a pub lunch - you can’t beat a good burger!
3) I have a new found love for Smoked Mackerel in black pepper. 6 years ago I never would have thought I’d be loving mackerel 🙊
4) Currently enjoying simple gut supporting breakfasts with sheep’s yoghurt and Granola topped with milled flaxseeds & blueberries
5) My new favourite restaurant because they get their produce from either the 2 farms they work with which are biodynamic or other British farms. Having a restaurant in London which is supporting British farming and soil quality is a 10/10 for me!
6) My favourite snack of all time - dates stuffed with peanut butter 🤤
5) Morning sunlight rich walks with my bestie 🐶 because sun & nature are truly the best medicine 💛
