Summer skin, soul sisters, and outdoor Pilates… here’s a little life update 💛

I’ve been soaking up every bit of this British heatwave, even taking my Pilates mat outside for what I now call ‘Inferno Class’ - who needs a studio when it’s 30+ degrees? 😆🔥

My running has made a comeback too 🙈 Since being diagnosed with my hip impingement and displaysia in my right hip I have to be careful and got to say, the On Cloud Cloudmonster have been a game changer! Literally Zero hip pain when running 🙌🏽

Summer skin-wise, I’ve been obsessed with pomegranate (hello antioxidants) and I’ve been craving fruit with sheep’s yoghurt for breakfast… slightly different than usually but I’m not fighting it - I’m giving my body’s what is needs. No rules here. Just nourishment 🥰

And to bring summer all together is celebrating 31 years around the sun with my Soul Sisters 🥹💖

We’re also in the process of buying a house (sorry for being MIA!) and we’ve just got a completion date 🎉 It’s been a bit of a stressful ride, so I’ve been leaning into my rituals more - especially meditation, crystals and spending time outside exploring the countryside with my fur baby aka my ultimate happy place 🥹

✨ I want to leave you with this…

You can eat the cleanest diet, follow the best workouts, take all the supplements…

But if you’re not connected to yourself, if your nervous system is in survival mode - none of it will work the way it should.

This is your reminder to come home to you 🫶🏽

I’ve been hearing the same thing from new clients lately…

They’ve started eating “better” - more protein, more fibre, and yet…

Their bloating has actually gotten worse.

It’s not your fault.
It’s not the food’s fault either.
It’s about whether your gut is in the right place to handle it.

If protein is leaving you bloated and feeling heavy - low stomach acid or sluggish enzymes is usually the culprit (this is how I used to feel anytime I ate protein and the reason I started avoiding it which wasn’t the right solution!).

If fibre makes you look 6 months pregnant - it could be SIBO, where bacteria are fermenting food in the wrong place - you’re small intestine rather than your large intestine.

This is why I don’t give blanket advice to my clients.

Every body and gut is different - your gut bacteria is as unique as your finger print.

And your symptoms are information - not a failure 💚

If you’d asked me 5 years ago if I’d post a bare faced picture of myself to instagram fresh out the shower I would have said no way in hell - not without a filter anyway 😅

What changed everything?

Not a better concealer that’s for sure!

It was healing my gut, balancing my hormones and regulating my nervous system

When your gut is inflamed, liver is congested, hormones are off, your skin will show it - through breakouts, dullness, sensitivity, or congestion

The real glow-up started when I began supporting:

– My liver (no more hormonal chaos)
– My digestion (so I could absorb skin-loving nutrients)
– My nervous system (because stress was driving everything)

I used to think eating plant-based and taking a probiotic was enough (trust me it’s not!)

But the truth is, healing your gut isn’t about being perfect…

It’s about repairing and rebuilding, one step at a time. And sometimes it’s going to feel like you’ve taken 10 steps back only to be catapulted 20 steps forward

With that comes implementing the habits that actually CREATE the space for your body to heal -

This wasn’t just eating “clean” but implementing gut healthy habits, but also working on my nervous system - creating a safe space for my body to heal

WHEN I PRIORITISED MY HEALTH, MY WHOLE LIFE CHANGED 👇🏽

I used to believe health was just about what you eat and how much you exercise. But the deeper I went, the more I realised - true health is about SO much more than food!

When I studied at I learned from the world’s leading experts in nutrition, functional medicine, and lifestyle medicine - leaders who have reshaped the way we understand health

And what I discovered?

Health isn’t just about what’s on your plate. It’s about your nervous system, your stress resilience, your sleep, your relationships, your mindset.

Gut health is at the core of everything. Hormones, skin, energy, mental clarity - it all starts with how well your body absorbs, detoxifies, and regulates.

Burnout isn’t just “stress.” It’s a sign that your body is operating in survival mode - trapped in a cycle that no amount of sleep or “clean eating” can fix.
