Big news from The Essex Osteo…

After many discussions about the future of healthcare and technology, we’ve decided it’s time to embrace innovation.

So for the rest of 2026, we’ll be working on developing our very own Osteopathy Robot 🤖

The plan is simple: a fully automated system that can assess posture, identify tight muscles, and deliver treatment with perfect precision every time.

No scheduling conflicts.
No tired hands.
No coffee breaks required.

We’re still working out a few minor details… like teaching it empathy, conversation, and the ability to explain why your hamstrings are tight even though you “stretch all the time”.

But we’re confident we’ll get there!

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍

Today we’re celebrating Lucia, the half that helps make The Essex Osteo what it is.

From caring for patients, keeping the clinic running, bringing the calm when things get busy, and generally being the steady force behind a lot of what happens here… this place wouldn’t be the same without her.

Running a small clinic takes a lot of hard work, heart and patience, and Lucia brings all three every single day.

So today we’re celebrating the women who show up, support others, and quietly make a big difference, both in clinic and far beyond it.

And more often than not, we’ll be looking at yours during treatment.

Because feet are where everything starts. They’re your base, your foundation, and how they move (or don’t move) can influence what’s happening all the way up the body.

Restricted ankles, collapsed arches, stiff toes, poor foot mechanics, these can contribute to knee pain, hip discomfort, lower back issues and even posture changes without you realising the connection.

So if we ask you to take your socks off, there is a very good reason.

We’re not just treating where it hurts, we’re looking at what might be causing it.

From growing bodies and sports-related niggles in children, to long-standing aches, injuries or post-exercise soreness in adults, we see a wide range of knee concerns in clinic.

Age, activity levels, lifestyle, and past injuries all play a role, which is why every assessment and treatment is tailored to the individual in front of us.

2025, you’ve been a big one!

We hope you had a merry Christmas.

As the year wraps up, we just wanted to say a huge thank you.

To everyone who came in for appointments — whether it was once, regularly, or after months of “I probably should’ve booked sooner”, thank you for trusting us and our little one-couch clinic.

To those who’ve liked, shared, commented, saved posts, sent us DMs, recommended us to friends, family, colleagues, gym pals and WhatsApp groups, that support genuinely keeps us going and helps more people find us than you might realise.

And to everyone who’s stuck around on here during the last couple of months when we’ve been a bit quieter… thank you for your patience (📚 the last term of school— if you know, you 'really' know).

We’re heading into the next year feeling very grateful, very proud of what we’ve built together, and excited for what’s to come.
