Essex Sports Rehab The Sports Rehab Clinic is home to Barry, an experienced Sports Rehabilitation Therapist offering injury management and treatment, including sports massage.

A tailored approach that begins with a thorough assessment and treatment plan. The Sports Rehab Clinic (Formally Essex Sports Rehab) is run by Barry, who is a qualified Sports Rehabilitation Therapist (MSc/GSR) offering a clinic based service to treat and prevent muscular skeletal injuries. Barry has been trained and educated in principles that have practical and evidence based treatments with solid sport and exercise foundations. Not just for the sports person, anyone can benefit from Barry's expertise as occupational, emotional and postural stress may produce many similar characteristics to sports injuries. As a sports rehabilitator, Barry has the experience, knowledge and ability to:
1) Assess and diagnose injuries
2) Deliver a personalised treatment plan to maximise movement and physical independence
3)Teach patients how to reduce pain and manage chronic injuries
4) Implement rehabilitation programmes
5) Teach patients how to stay fit and well. Some of the treatments offered include massage, trigger point techniques and mobilisations, kinesio-taping, stretching techniques, cupping, Biomechanics analysis and personal training. Typical conditions include:
