After a long break away while dealing with some things on the home front, it was so lovely to get back to Little Pips cuppa club today. As well as some lovely home visits earlier in the week.

When you get a message from one of your mamas to say that little one is now over birthweight, after being worried about latch and a slow gain to start with.
Mamas rock, because postpartum recovery, and caring for a newborn is not easy. Especially not when you have a toddler too........keep up the good work

Feeling rather under the weather at the moment and like maybe something is brewing, and not in the coffee pot. So in order to keep mums and babies safe and well, and to meet my own needs to feel better, I will be taking a week off starting today.
I will happily answer messages and calls if you need support, but will not be booking any breastfeeding home visits, doula visits or face to face support for the next 7 days.
Hopefully by then I'll be feeling better, and can safely see you all again.

This lovely lady was my childminder for many years, was so so sad when they went into full time school and we didn't need childcare anymore. If anyone is looking for a childminder, you can't find better, snap her up quickly x

Sorry folks, been awol for a couple of days. We ticked off some bucket list items for mum in law, and I got to whizz around a race track in an ariel atom, a ferrari and a lambourgini (photos will follow if anyone wants to see them) We have had 2 kids really struggling with the heat the last few days, and another with crippling hay-fever, and some urgent life admin to get done.
I have replied to the message that have been waiting, and normal service will resume tomorrow.
