Notice to Patients: Practice Improvement Works

After a slight delay to accommodate our recent CQC inspection building works have now started.

This work represents Phase 1 of a three-phase development plan, beginning with the creation of an additional consulting room. The full programme will ultimately provide much-needed dispensary space, two new consulting rooms, and an improved waiting room, enabling us to better meet the needs of our patients.

Phase 1 is expected to take approximately six weeks to complete. From the outset, the size of the waiting room will be reduced, and there may be some minor disruption, until all three phases have been completed.

We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience and kindly ask for your patience and understanding while these essential improvements are carried out. Our team will do everything possible to minimise disruption and maintain a safe, comfortable environment throughout the works.

Thank you for bearing with us as we invest in the future of the practice and the care we provide.

Changes to your child's vaccination schedule.

From 1 January 2026, the MMRV vaccine will be introduced into the routine childhood immunisation schedule in the UK. When your child will be offered this vaccine depends on their date of birth.

The MMRV vaccine helps protect children against measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox (varicella). Children are offered 2 doses when they are 12 and 18 months old as part of the schedule. Older children born on or after 1 January 2020 will be offered 1 or 2 doses of MMRV.

Please get in contact with the surgery with any questions regarding these vaccinations.
