We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming some very special visitors to our home 🐑💛

A beautiful baby lamb came to visit, and it’s safe to say our residents were completely delighted! There were so many smiles, gentle cuddles, and heartwarming moments shared by everyone.

Thank you to our wonderful visitors for such a special morning —we can’t wait to have you back again! 🥰

We’re incredibly proud to be among the few care providers offering immersive dementia trainingin-house 💙

This approach goes far beyond traditional learning - it allows our teams to truly step into the shoes of those living with dementia, building empathy, understanding as well as delivering more compassionate, person-centred care.

We’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching our eggs hatch into the sweetest little chicks 🐣💛

They’ve quickly become part of our family, loving nothing more than curling up on our residents’ laps and enjoying plenty of cuddles. The smiles they’ve brought to everyone’s faces have been truly heartwarming 😊

We can’t wait to continue watching them grow — our residents’ families love them just as much, and every visitor who meets them completely falls in love too 💕

Happy Easter from us all at Kingfisher Nursing Home! 🐣🌷

We’ve had such a lovely day celebrating together — enjoying a delicious roast lamb dinner followed by a very competitive Easter egg hunt (things got serious! 🍫😄).

Thank you to everyone who helped make today so special. We hope you’ve all had a wonderful Easter filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of chocolate!

This morning both residents and staff had a wonderful time at our latest Chatterbox session. 🙂

We came together to share stories, laughter, and memories-proving once again how powerful a simple conversation can be. From reminiscing about the good old days to chatting about hobbies and favourite songs etc, the room was full of smiles and connection. ❤️

Our residents had a lovely morning filled with laughter, friendly competition and a little bit of luck. We played for full houses, the excitement was contagious and of course, there were plenty of smiles all around.

Activities like Bingo are a wonderful way to bring everyone together, keep minds active, and create joyful moments.

Our homes were full of Irish cheer this St Patrick’s Day ☘️

From lively music and themed activities to delicious Irish-inspired treats residents and teams across Westgate came together to celebrate in true St Patrick’s spirit. Lounges were filled with green decorations, smiles and shared moments, creating a wonderful sense of community throughout the day.

St Patrick’s Day, celebrated each year on 17 March, is known for bringing people together through culture, music and shared traditions. Celebrations like these are about so much more than the occasion itself—they bring people together. 💚
