London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 🤩🎉🏅

I didn’t think anything could top my first half marathon, but this event smashed it out of the park!! I truly loved every minute of that run 🥹 The vibes were immaculate, the crowd was sensational, the entertainment along en route gave me lifeee. 💃🎶💫

And I got a better time than I ever thought I could 😭🫶 sooo proud of myself! 2 hours and 13 minutes! This from the woman who had to stop 3 times for a 6km run just last January. Who even is she? 😅

My only concern is: this was my first ever road half marathon… I think I’ve peaked 😂👀

Thank you SO much to everyone who sponsored me, trained with me, and wished me good luck for the big day. It really spurred me on and made all the difference knowing I was running for a great cause with all that support behind me 🫶

Special shout out to my run buddy for bringing the energy, to our boys for being the best support crew along the way, and of course my mum for taking good care of her grand-puppy Biscuit whilst I was away 💚

Is that not the happiest springador in all the land? 🥹😄

We had a great stomp around our local hill this weekend, extending the usual route because the sun was shining ☀️ (thankfully made it back before the hailstones hit!) Biscuit was absolutely buzzing to be running around the hills and bouncing through the heather and bilberry bushes.

Chester 10km 08.03.2026 🏃‍♀️

Not the race day I wanted. One of those days where everything goes against you 🙈 But by some miracle, I made it to the finish line. I didn’t get a PB, but I did beat last year’s time by 4mins 6seconds, so there’s some improvement. But as .with.louise_ reminded me, not all races go to plan.

(My favourite is the professional photo - you can see Adam’s happy face popping out to get the video of me running over the line 🥹😅)

For the women who offer a shoulder, a laugh, a hug, a distraction, a safe space, or simply just company, whilst we all navigate our way through this life… thank you 💚

The world can feel like an overwhelming, often scary place, particularly right now. Having other women by my side helps. Having that support and camaraderie helps. I’m forever grateful for the women in my life.
