This weekend we had an early pamper, relaxation and creative day in celebration of Mother’s Day. We also had the pleasure of welcoming NAYA wellbeing and care here to sell some of her amazing products to both our residents and team .

We spent the afternoon creating fabulous flower arrangements, with the help of one of our very talented residents who kindly guided and inspired us throughout.

This was followed by a delicious cream tea and a glass of fizz. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun, laughter and lovely stories shared by everyone! 💐🥂

This week we welcomed Sandra from the Co-op Community in Chester. She came in to talk to us about how the Co-op is a sustainable company and how it is owned by its customers.

Sandra explained that being a customer-owned business means members have a say in how the company is run.

She encouraged us to sign up as members so that we can receive discounts and other benefits.

She also brought in lots of lovely food from the lunch meal deal menu for us to try, and everyone was very impressed with the variety and quality.

We also took the opportunity to celebrate one of our residents, and we all shared some delicious cake together, which made the day even more special.

A Beautiful Beginning for Our New Pavilion Space

Yesterday, we welcomed our very first event in our newly refurbished Pavilion Space and what a wonderful way to begin! Our relaxing sound bath experience created the perfect atmosphere for residents and team members to unwind and recharge.

This is just the first of many exciting events already booked for this fabulous new space, and we can’t wait to see it brought to life again and again.

Yesterday we celebrated Shrove Tuesday in true Wyldewoods style with a fantastic pancake flipping competition involving both residents and staff.

There was lots of laughter and friendly competition as everyone showed off their flipping skills!

After the competition, we all enjoyed a delicious pancake lunch with a variety of tasty toppings, giving everyone a lovely opportunity to catch up and have a chat together.

A huge thank you to Adam, our General Manager here at The Wyldewoods, for making all the pancakes for the day – we really appreciate all your hard work.

A big well done to Melissa for being crowned our Pancake Flipping Champion!

Melissa was proudly presented with a golden pan as her trophy – until next year 🎉

Today, our community coordinator Kelly was delighted to announce that from April, The Chester Club , Brunch Club will be held at Sage at Chester restaurant, located within the Wyldewoods Retirement Village.

We’re very excited to share this news and are really looking forward to hosting you there.

We hope it will be a wonderful opportunity to welcome lots of new faces through our doors.
